Hello Patriots, September 30, 2009
Well it is time again to make our dissatisfaction with Gov't Run Health Care known. There is so much confusion in Congress and so many bills that no one knows exactly where they stand. We can not allow that confusion to catch us off guard. We must push on until this absurdity is over!
It is important to realize that the longer we can make them drag this out the lower the public approval for GRHC will be. There is talk of moving the "deadline" for the Congressional vote to Thanksgiving. We must continue to protest across America to add to their pressure.

DATE: October 10, 2009 (Saturday)
TIME: 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM
LOCATION: N. 9th Avenue at Creighton Road

During the protest if we leave 6 to 8 feet between each other it will allow the passing motorists more time to read our signs. It makes our signs more visible by not blocking each other. Please tell your friends, neighbors and relatives about our protest and invite them to participate. We will make announcements on several radio stations and in the Pensacola News Journal.
We will send a reminder email and include any further information.

Gerald, Great Letter! Well said, and you said it all. If it is any consolation, check out http://www.gradegov.com/index.php. Nelson has been graded F by Floridians who have graded him. You can also see how all the other members of Congress have been graded, and the comments made about them. Very interesting.

We can only hope that this will blow Nelson out of the water. It's amaxing how much he has fooled the people of Florida. I get the feeling that the light is coming on for many people in the democratic party. I hope they will see him the way I have for years. We need to keep this "vote" against the people on the front burner.

Good on you, Jerry. The loss of Mel Martinez is nothing great--he was more like Nelson in his voting, so the loss of Nelson can only make things better for Florida and the senate!

PATRIOTS:
I sent the following to Sen. Bill Nelson, castigating him for voting against giving his constituents the ability to read the Health Care legislation prior to final passage.
If you agree, you have my permission to use all or part of it for a personal message to Sen. Nelson. All that I ask is that you change the letter to remove any personal references to me.
The other obvious requirement is that you do all that you can to prevent him from being re-elected.

Dear Senator Nelson:

I am one of your many Florida constituents, (not a Republican), who previously considered you a legislator with integrity. Today you proved us all wrong, by voting lemming-like with your party, and caused rejection of a very straight forward amendment to the Health Care Bill, which “would have required that Americans have at least 72 hours to review the bill’s exact language and full cost estimate on the Finance Committee’s website before the final vote on the legislation’s passage.”.

Since this action on your part defies logic of any kind, I was left with the only conclusion that you are more interested in cow-towing to your party wishes than you are to your own constituents. Have you lost sight of the very important fact that you and the rest of Congress work for us, the Citizens who entrusted you with the sacred duty of representing us in ALL legislative actions, and not the other way around?

What possible reasoning could have gone through your mind, to deny citizens of this failing Nation, the opportunity to learn what you are proposing that we accept in this Bill? Where is your honor, not to mention the Oath of Office you apparently disregard? Is it because you are ashamed of what is being foisted on the American Public and afraid of giving them the opportunity to see and expose your chicanery? And what possible reason could there be to rush such a far reaching and important Bill forward to deny anyone the opportunity to examine it before shoving it down our throats? Apparently there is no honest reason for this haste, other than your political play and power grab! Do you think that the cost of this measure to the American Public is inconsequential to the point where you are demanding that they do nothing but Trust You? You have long since abrogated that trust, as evidenced by your misplaced allegiance to Party above all else.

There was a time in the distant past, Senator Nelson, when I thought you were honestly on the side of your Constituents, and I lauded you to others. Obviously my judgment of character is badly flawed. I’m afraid your obvious betrayal of us forces me to work very earnestly, in conjunction with the great number of Grassroots Patriots in Florida, to preclude you from being re-elected, and to provide our very full support to a future competitive candidate of you and your Party. It pains me greatly to assist in such drastic action, but unless you persuade me otherwise I have no alternative. Incidentally, I’m sure you are aware of the tremendous number of Floridians who were present at the 9-12 March and Rally in DC and who were AGAINST PASSING THE HEALTH CARE BILL. The mass outpouring of anger exhibited by Citizens who felt they had been betrayed by their legislative employees will certainly make your future election plans very iffy.

I would think anyone residing in the Tampa Bay area would be joining the Central Florida sub group. Living in Port Richey, I would rather travel to Lakeland than Lake City for an event.

Can someone point me in the direction of the correct sub group, I live in district 12 (near Plant City), I think maybe North Florida but the lines are a little vague. Thank you in advance - Pamela
