One other point about the civil war - South Carolina has adopted their law of sovereignty here
and they fought in the civil war.

Thanks oldJmpmstr
The representative that told you the civil war prohibited our 10th amendment should be fired. What about the 21 other states that have already done it and the 11 more working on it?
Here's Arizona's - here
Here is Oklahoma's
Here is the state of Washington's
Here is Michigan's

So if some Florida "representative" doesn't want to stand up for our freedom & liberty - let him/her be counted against us.

I sent the NH bill on to our reps from NWF, One answered and told me the civil war had pretty much killed our right to do this. The rest didn't even bother to answer. I'm working on an end run now.

The Florida Sovereignty movement has nothing to do with Bill Nelson or Mel Martinez - this is about our Florida Legislature. Each Florida Representative to the Florida House and each Florida Senator to the Florida Senate needs to be contacted to see who will sponsor a Florida Sovereignty bill and once passed will be presented to Charlie Christ for his endorsement. Those who will not go along should be ousted from the Florida Legislature.

Martinez is worthless in my opinion. Anything his constituents say goes in one ear and out the other unless there is money behind it. He won't be motivated by votes anymore because he is not seeking re-election. Maybe we will get a representative to replace him that will actually be concerned with the wants and needs of the people they are supposed to represent.

I don't think Sen. Nelson or Martinez would be up to the task to do anything about this problem. I send them messages and they reply but seem only intersted in more votes for the stimulas package and reelection. Now Rep. Miller may be a different story. He is one of the best in the House of Rep's.

DetectveKrum, I found this group while looking to see if Florida was pushing for a sovereignty bill. I'm really disappointed that we don't have anything drafted. If the SHTF, I'm packing up everything I can and heading to one of the sovereign states.

Florida needs to sponsor a sovereignty move like 30 other states have done. Check out New Hampshire's HCR6 a new bill declaring state sovereignty under Article 9 and Article 10 of the united states Constitution. Representative Matt Shey from Washington state is making headline news with their sovereignty bill as is Rep. Jim Guest from Missouri and their sovereignty bill. Plus New Hampshire has their's and New Hampshire is using Article 10 the Right to Revolt.

Let's put our heads together to get Florida to lead the way as the 3rd most populated state in the country. What representatives in Florida will introduce a bill similar to New Hampshire's in the Florida House and Senate????? Stand up now to be counted.

The Federalist Papers? They used to have their own tab but now, if you go up to the top of the page and click menu, I understand you can find them there.
