Boren.... Is he that stupid or think we are?

Dan Boren really must think we the people of the 2nd District are stupid.  Does he really think he can lie with such impunity about his support of Nancy Pelosi
and the left’s agenda and still get re-elected in November?

 

He apparently can’t even get his story straight.  Boren Voted in favor of adjourning congress without considering the Bush tax Cuts.  This was not
the action most Oklahoman’s wanted their Representative to do on their
behalf.  When Boren realized this he said” he routinely votes
for adjournment resolutions and wasn't aware until after the vote that the one
on Wednesday had become a referendum on extending the tax cuts.”

  Dan Boren is not a stupid man.  Realistically he would have to
have been hiding under a rock or completely unconscious for the past several
weeks to not know that this adjournment was a referendum on extending the tax
cuts.   As ridiculous as this statement was, it was completely
untruthful.   In an earlier telephone interview, with
Tulsa Today, Boren was
asked the Question “Can you tell us what our tax rate will be January?” 
Boren answered with a very direct answer   ““No,” he answered. 

After a pause, Boren (D, 2nd District) continued, “I think that what will happen is that we will adjourn late tonight.  After the election, we will come back
November 15th and within a week to ten days we will have a vote on the extension
of the Bush Tax Cuts.  My belief, and some will disagree, but I think we
will extend all of them probably for about two years.  They won’t be

So what’s the real answer?  The facts are

1. Boren stated Congress would not voting on tax cuts until after the November elections
2. Boren voted to adjourn without addressing the tax cuts.  
3. The people of the 2^nd District were not happy with his vote so Boren said he didn’t know. 

So was Dan Boren lying or was he just irresponsible?  I’m not sure that question matters, neither answer is a good one in either case he does NOT represent the
people of the 2^nd District. 
George Washington made to following comparison.  “Government is not reason, it is not eloquence, it
is force; like fire, a troublesome servant and a fearful master. Never for a
moment should it be left to irresponsible action.”   We can no longer
afford Dan Boren’s irresponsible and or dishonest actions in any branch of
government.   

In less than 40 days, we will go to the polls and decide who will represent us in the US Congress.  Our choices are Dan Boren either irresponsible or just a plain liar or Charles Thompson, an honest small business
man, veteran and
Texas boarder volunteer.   

I think the choice is very clear.

Spread the truth of Boren and help out with the Thompson campaign. Boren is by far the worst Representative Oklahoma has. We have a couple RINOS that I wish we could get rid of, but his vote for the left is the most important at this time.
