Tulsa – Saturday, July 4, 10 a.m., LaFortune Park, 61st and Yale, south end of park

Unfortunately, the OKC Tea Party will NOT be having an event for the 4th. They have joined forces with the 9-12 Group and will be doing an event on 9-12 instead. All of those in OKC, please attend one of the states other Tea Parties and lend your support!

Stars and Stripes Park is on Lake Hefner. When you head north on Portland off of NW Expressway it takes you straight to the park. I'm not specifically thinking of a tea party but it would be nice for us to meet each other, fellowship and possibly even make some future plans. We don't have to wait for a large group to make plans for us...we also can make plans.

It has been reported that the OKC group (the ones who organized the April 15th Tea Party) has joined up with the 912 Project and are concentrating on September 12, 2009.

Jean, there is also one at Lafortune park In Tulsa, (Yale between 51st and 61st ). Randy Brogden, state Senator and Republican candidate for Governor in 2010 will be speaking as well as a couple others. The time is from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00A.M.
I think we are going to the one at Lafortune. It is most likely to get press coverage, but most importantly, I want to hear what Randy Brogden has to say.

The Sooner Tea Party will be holding a Tea Party on the south steps of the Capitol starting at 10 am until noon. Different group from the OKC tea party, but a number of the same members will be there.

Hundreds of Afghan interpreters who served on the frontline with British forces in Afghanistan will be offered the chance of a new life in Britain after a government U-turn, it was revealed on Wednesday.

Report: Iran is Expanding its Nuclear Activities
Iran is making significant progress in expanding its nuclear program, including in opening up a potential second route to developing the bomb, a new U.N. atomic agency report showed Wednesday.

1. Click on State Groups tab at the top of the page.
2. Find your State Flag
3. Click on Flag.
4. Look for link to join Your State Group near the top of the State Groups page.
5. Click on it.

How to post "live" URL in posts at PFA............. Adding URLs in blog posts that are not "live" is a waste of everyone's time.....
Here's how....if anyone has better guidance send to me.....
First........type your text entry into the post block to include typing or paste the URL you want us to view........when finished with the text, highlight and copy the URL in the text.......then click the "add hyperlink" tool in the B, I, U box just above the text entry, after clicking, a window will open asking for the URL...paste the URL in the box and click "OK". You have now made the URL "live"...........it shows some code before the post is published, it goes away when you "publish post".......
