Welcome Annie. I live in Vermont, but my heart is in Virginia. I'm a Marine veteran. I finished Boot Camp a few days before my eighteenth birthday.

Hi all. Born in Norfolk, raised in Va Beach, daughter of a Marine, married a Sailor (Submariner, USS Atlanta, RM). Moved to Missouri for a while, moved back to Va 8 years ago and now reside in Chesapeake near all my family and loving it. Blessed with a fabulous Congressman, Randy Forbes, and working to help get the awesome Bob McDonnell elected our next Governor. Thanks for the invite, Twana!

I was born and raised in Washington State, migrated to Oregon, thence to the US Marine Corps for ten years thence to Quantico Virginia for three tours and stayed some twenty five years. Left in 1980, and when wife of fifty years passed, returned to Virginia to live with daughter. Met fine lady married now living back in Virginia. Looks like this is where I always was and will always be destined to live and accomplish whatever it is that the Good Lord was saving me to do. I can hardly wait to find out what that is.

How to post "live" URL in posts at PFA............. Adding URLs in blog posts that are not "live" is a waste of everyone's time.....
Here's how....if anyone has better guidance send to me.....
First........type your text entry into the post block to include typing or paste the URL you want us to view........when finished with the text, highlight and copy the URL in the text.......then click the "add hyperlink" tool in the B, I, U box just above the text entry, after clicking, a window will open asking for the URL...paste the URL in the box and click "OK". You have now made the URL "live"...........it shows some code before the post is published, it goes away when you "publish post".......
