Dahlonega OAS Rally!  Paul, General Fontaine and me

Great Day!

Comment by Carrie Beth Koncar on March 29, 2014 at 4:49pm

Hello Georgia Patriots! Dahlonega Rally was a complete success!  we were able to touch hundreds of people throughout our time in the Public Square. Whether to vehicles, businesses or pedestrian Operation American Spring echoed throughout the Public Square.

I want to thank all the dedicated patriots that came out even through the off and on rain. Most of all I want to thank General Fontaine who surprisingly show up and gave OAS his support. Thank you Rick Mitchell for directing the General our way today, it was a pleasure. As soon as the pictures come in they will posted!

Looking forward to our next rally in Fayetteville, South Atlanta! Thank-you Jerel for putting this together!

Attention North Georgia District 9:  Major General Bernard Fontaine is running against Doug Collins for the House of Representatives.  He is a Godly man and Stand up Patriot.  I have sent him the OAS website and we have been on the phone talking about OAS.  He also wants to talk with Colonel Riley, and I have forwarded his contact info to the Colonel as well.

I sent him the Dahlonega Rally info.  He has a speaking engagement in Homer on the same day; but he is interested in future Rally's and not for political reasons.  He does seek the same as we and wants to help OAS.  He'd be a great recruiter for vets.  He is also involved with Search and Rescue.  /  are his email addresses. (706) 747- 1214 is his number

The tallying of the Georgia participants starts now.  We need a Georgia flag to huddle under.  Just need some 55 to commit to get started with one bus.  May 16th is just around the corner and the bus company needs commitments to reserve the bus of course.  If you can commit, please email at, which is not on the public air waves, but more secure.  Your suggestions are welcome.  If we start in Fayetteville and work our way northward, picking up as we go, we may need to bed down slightly short of D.C..  People south of Fayetteville, are most welcome join us there, or we can get a bus further down south. Donations are welcome if you cannot attend.  And there will be some that would appreciate a little supplementation in these economic times.  Food and drink, on board is a thought, too.  Whatcha think?

Don you sound like a go getter, why not sign up for the logistic coordinator of Ga OAS and come up with a plan and start coordinating with those already involved in their areas. The following is a list of the people and the areas they have been involved in so far: Leader - Dr Bob, Leader - Art Griffith,
Myself - N Ga regional coordinator, recruiting, communication and transportation, Paul B - recruiting, Rick M - recruiting..., Jerel - recruiting and transportation and Sandy R - recruiting. I've sent emails to all of my contacts about rally and meeting this weekend, hopefully everyone plus will show up and we can find more connection and planning.

The main list for volunteer positions are: Regional & Community Coordinators, Logistics,Communications, Recruiting, Security, Intelligence and
Field Operations.

As was mentioned before those that are recruiting please start getting a head count of who wants to go by bus then push there names through the email and I will pass the list on to Jerel.

since I don't know who the state leader is and cannot get a sensible answer to some important question I'm about to say to heck with it and just do my own thing. This is not a vacation but an important event and far too precious than see such poor coordination within the state. I  don't care how many buses you get but how many people will show up. I can get 10 buses but if I can't fill 10 buses up then I haven't invested wisely and I bet not one person from Ga can even give a decent account of how many people are going. Hasn't anyone started a list of people from Ga who are going?

So is someone coordinating a list of everyone going. Is Georgia going to be a group or are we going to be as individuals? How many are going from start to finish and will there be a point of contact person for the entire operation. Three buses sounds good but what are the plans for accommodations. Are we going to be scattered and what about others that may want to come up during the course of this operation? Will they  be comfortable in wanting to be involved if we have not made it convenient when others may come? Going sounds great but to provide logistics so we are more effective goes a lot further. I am really uncomfortable about this event and the poorly planned state groups have no plan to create for their state members or citizens wanting or willing to come at some point, arrive with no idea where to go or who to contact. We have got to do better than this. I believe that every state should post a contact point in a local camping facility who will coordinate with members from their respective states to keep a journal of all who come. We need to acknowledge their willingness to come and indoctrinate them in regard to the latest updates and what our schedule is during their brief stay. I would like to see people come and when they leave have a burning passion to become more involved in their communities and government happenings.

I am working on getting a bus or buses to leave from Fayetteville, Georgia on Thursday, May 15th, return Sunday.  One bus equals 55 people equals $6500, equals  roughly $120 per person without any incidentals.  Working out lodging.  Since the buses are leaving from South Atlanta, it would be feasible to pick up along the way......for sure.   How many?  Jerel.

Hello Don, those that are committed like myself to see OAS a success are working diligently to get the word about Operation American Spring. We are having our third OAS rally this weekend in Dahlonega and Jerel from South Atlanta is working on two more in his area. I have presently sent letters to the editors in 51 newspaper in Georgia and will finish the rest of all Ga newspapers in the  next couple of weeks. Others like myself have been working on getting the churches on board, spreading the word to other national newspapers and going to gun shows and gun shops. I do agree with your assessment on the leadership though, we do have a leader but it seems he has slipped away for unknown reasons.

The personal plan that I have been following is simple, to get the word out about OAS to everyone I have contact with in the form rallies, newspapers, through social network, and footwork in my community. Further, and have the buses available to those that want to go this way (Jerel is also presently been working on buses and lodging). I figure its up to each of us who have a heart to see our Constitution restored to step up to the plate and become a leader in your own region or area of influence.

I believe we CAN fill those buses if everyone has a hand in helping us get the word out and comes to together in unity!  Further,  I do believe the Lord is with Col Riley's mission and will make away to see our constitution restored and our "lawless" government thrown out for HIS end time purposes!, even through the mountains of fear, discouragement, complacency and hardship that Americans are faced with is keeping people from entering in. But those that have the passion for American, Constitution and God,  just need to continue to press in and trust the Lord to deliver us as we move forward with Operation American Spring! Look at Gideons army of 300! Look at when the Jews came back to Jerusalem to build the wall in 52 days! Nothing is impossible with GOD! (Mark 10:27).

One last thing  on a practical note, if anyone wants to go by bus whether yourself or those you have contact with please contact so we can start getting a head count. I will ask my contacts specifically this week. And the Lord willing we will try an have a meeting after the Rally in Dahlonega.

"Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.
