Orange County Florida is a key county in the I-4 corridor in this presidential election and it is run by a democrat. Please read the following to understand the charges filed against Bill Cowles, the Democrat Orange County supervisor of elections, who did not follow the proper state statutes for retesting a voting machine when it failed to tabulate the correct ballot total before the August primary. We NEED an honest voting process this election. Can we trust Bill Cowles to follow through correctly when charges for improper procedure are now filed against him?

We NEED to vote OUT Bill Cowles (D ) as Orange County supervisor of elections and elect Dan Fanelli (R ) to the position this November!! Dan Fanelli is a veteran who promises a fair election process for ALL voters!
Another red flag in Orange County elections process:
This June article, “Orange voters react angrily to request for new signatures” by Scott Powers and Kathleen Haughney, stated “In the Republican presidential primary Jan. 31, Cowles said, his office rejected 119 absentee ballots because the signatures on the ballots didn’t adequately match the ones they had on file… Cowles, a Democrat, acknowledged that his effort to seek fresh signatures is tied to the new law, which requires closer scrutiny of absentee ballots. But he said the initiative was his own, not something ordered by the state.”

According to a person in the supervisor of elections office that I was connected to by phone, 208 absentee ballots in the August primary were rejected based solely on the comparison of signature on voter registration form to signature on absentee ballot. They could not tell me the breakdown of republican and democrat ballots not counted. According to people present at the primary absentee vote canvassing in August, Mr. Cowles and the canvassing board did not further try to verify signatures using the department of motor vehicles or any other means as other supervisors of elections around the state have written that they use.
We have all sat at the DMV for hours producing records to prove who we are, where we live and signing our names electronically yet this updated information is not available to verify an absentee ballot signature and instead a person’s precious vote is just discarded? Does this even make sense? These votes could be the difference in a close election or recount!!!
Is Bill Cowles allowed to implement his own initiatives on verifying absentee ballot signatures in the state of Florida?
