Part 2

 4. Regarding bathroom issues: In 2009 at 9/11 in DC, there were 2 hour waits for bathrooms and porta-johns.  People wet themselves.  You might think this is crazy...you are entitled...but it is suggested to bring a travel urinal (you can buy them at a drugstore, also available with a female adapter )...add a dark green opaque poncho...and walaaaa...you have your own porta-john.  A street storm sewer will be nearby for dumping...of course, this only works for urine.  Also, bring toilet paper and sani-wipes/baby wipes and hand alcohol gel, in any case. Local businesses you patronize will have toilets...but with millions attending...Bring toilet paper...make a bathroom plan.  Plastic shopping bags and disposable baby wipes will be needed.

 5. Hygiene: We will try to identify local places/patriots who can offer shower facilities for cleaning up...but we must be prepared for some "field hygiene".  Deodorant and/or Antiperspirant, along with travel sized soaps and shampoos or "dry shampoo".  Unscented baby wipes and that dark opaque poncho are amazing for a quick clean-up. A & D Ointment or Desitin for a chaffed rear end. Gold Bond Medicated powder is good for lots of things.  Dental Care with toothbrush, toothpaste and floss. Foot care is critical...keep feet clean and dry...foot powder...ask any soldier!  Female hygiene items as needed.  Tissues or handkerchiefs are important.  Several pair of clean underwear and socks and a towel are necessary.  We will identify laundromats for washing clothing.  Your good skin integrity is crucial for preventing infections of all kinds.

 6. Those with Chronic Illness:  Make sure to bring a months' supply of all of your medicine and any and all medical devices. An ill person can take out three healthy people. Make a list of all of your illnesses, past and present. Make a list of all of your surgeries, make a list of all of your medicines along with the amount you are taking and the instructions for taking , have a list of any and all medication and environmental allergies and make sure to have a contact number for your loved ones. For your safety, it is best to keep your medication history to yourself.  Take your medicines in private and do not talk about the medicines that you are taking.  For those that have intermittent health problems...for example, constipation, heart burn, asthma, etc., plan on taking your medications as prescribed.  Medic Alert Bracelets, for allergies or any chronic heart, lung, kidney and/or liver condition/disease.  If you cannot walk 10 miles, the front lines may not be the best option.  Bring your health insurance card, if you have insurance.

Part 3

7. Bring Band-Aids/mole skin/athletic tape for walking blisters and any minor first-aid supplies that you might need.  Ben-Gay, Blue Emu cream or Bio Freeze will help aching muscles & joints.  Consider Bactine antiseptic spray & Bacitracin antibiotic ointment, foot powder, insect sting swabs, Ace bandages, disposable ice packs & sunscreen, Tylenol/Ibuprophen (Motrin/Advil) & an antacid (Tums/Rolaids) for minor discomforts.

8. Bee Sting Allergy Sufferers:  Bring oral anti-histamine 1 blocker (Benadryl) and an oral

histamine 2 blocker (Pepcid).  If you have a prescription for injectable epinephrine (Epi-Pen) bring it.  If you have a prescription for a steroid burst pack (medrol dose pack), bring it.

 9. Infection Control: Bring several NITRILE medical gloves with you.  Nitrile is better for protection than latex gloves & does not cause allergies like latex. Bring several N-95masks...just in case. You can purchase these at your pharmacy/Lowes/Home Depot.

Consider throwing a pair of swimming goggles in your pack for protection from eye irritants. Consider portable/disposable CPR masks.  CPR can also be done in a "chest compression only" fashion with the victim's airway opened.  Frequent hand washing, alcohol gel use & personal hygiene are paramount for infection prevention.

 10. Sleep: Everyone needs some sleep.  If you are not staying in a secure hotel, you will need to plan to "buddy-up" with trusted vets/patriots to post guards while some of you sleep. Severe sleep deprivation can cause delusions, hallucinations & irrational behavior.

 11. Safety:  A cane or a walking stick can be a source of support and protection.  Consider a tactical flashlight for light and protection.  Travel in Buddy Teams of at least 2 persons or more.

 12. Individual Responsibility: We will all be in this together.  That said...we must do what we can to promote self care & individual health so that we can all be part of the solution. Use the above guide to plan for your own health care.  OAS will field volunteer medics, nurses & a few physicians to help with unforeseen health/injury issues.

 ***Disclaimer:  As always, your trusted personal physician should be your final  guidein your health care plan. Consult your physician.

 Hymns will be sung in DC, please print and bring a copy. Here are the lyrics from Pastor Bland:

My Country Tis of Thee

My country, ‘tis of thee, Sweet land of liberty

Of thee I sing:  Land where my fathers died,

Land of the pilgrim’s pride,

From every mountain side

Let freedom ring!

 Our fathers’ God, to Thee,

Author of liberty, To thee we sing:

Long may our land be bright, With freedom’s holy light;

Protect us by Thy might,

Great God, our King!

America The Beautiful

O beautiful for spacious skies, For amber waves of grain,

For purple mountain majesties, Above the fruited plain!

America!  America!

God shed His grace on thee,

And crown thy good with brotherhood

From sea to shining sea!

O beautiful for patriot dream, That sees beyond the years

Thine alabaster cities gleam, Undimmed by human tears!

America!  America!

God shed His grace on thee,

And crown thy good with brotherhood

From sea to shining sea!

God Bless America

God Bless America, land that I love

Stand beside her, and guide her

Through the night with Your light from above.

From the mountains, to the prairies, to the oceans white with foam.

God bless America, my home, sweet home.

God bless America, my home, sweet home.

Part 2

Hymns will be sung in DC, please print and bring a copy. Here are the lyrics from Pastor Bland:

Battle Hymn of The Republic

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the lord.

He has trampled out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored;

He has loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword.

His truth is marching on!

*CHORUS

I have seen him in watchfires of a hundred circling camps,

They have builded him an altar in the evening dews and damps;

I have read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps.

His day is marching on!

*CHORUS

He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never sound retreat,

He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment seat;

O be swift, my soul, to answer Him!  Be jubilant, my feet!

Our God is marching on!

*CHORUS

In the beauties of the lilies, Christ was born across the sea,

With a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me;

As He died to make men holy, let us live to make men free

While God is marching on!

* REPEAT CHORUS

CHORUS:

Glory, glory hallelujah!

Glory, glory hallelujah!

Glory, glory hallelujah!

His truth is marching on!

Operation Flood Congress (OFC) -  OAS May 16 is the beginning of patriots boots on the ground in D.C. to call for accountability from lawless leadership. OFC must also be the beginning, and continuing, as OAS on the ground will continue.  What is Operation Flood Congress?  Beginning May 15th, every patriot in America that stands behind OAS, loves freedom, liberty, holds our Constitution as the law of the land, begins calling/faxing Congress, tell them OAS is coming, and demanding action on OAS Declaration of Revision(Demands/Grievances) and Articles of Impeachment each member of Congress has received. Find your Senators at www.senate.gov and Representative at www.house.gov Call using 202-224-2131; 866-272-6622 for the capitol operator then ask for the office you want. We need a team on OAS/PFA to manage OFC, post OAS sites with information, keep it current, provide feedback, get the information on social media, and if possible create a massive phone calling initiative that will overwhelm and close the Capitol switchboard.  Who will lead/co-lead, be a team member for this effort??? One gigantic push on May 15 and forward.   Contact me at hmriley@cox.net

In the meantime go to www.oas2014.com and "take action" again and again.

If you are feeling nervous, pick a Bible verse that brings you comfort and memorize it.  Speak it out loud.  The Word of God is powerful!  =)
