MAKING SURE OUR VOTES COUNT
We need boots on the ground to train/work at all polls.
Areas we need to be involved in:
1. Knowing Voting Laws
2. Training and then working at polling stations
3. Be responsible for transporting absentee ballots
.....a. Make sure all ballots are sent out in a timely manner and provide helpful needed info to all voting

I shared an idea with my own GOP poll volunteer designate a few weeks ago my idea for a project of working with SOS on the front end weeding out bad voter registrations before these registrants even hit the polls. He said this is currently the work of low-income deputy registrars in the county boards of elections and there is not a lot of incentive or drive in that population. Essentially we would have to become deputy registrars ourselves for a project like this.
In my local group it is more appealing to work with candidates and plan TEA parties. I get sucked in myself, so I understand. New stuff is scary. The prospect of traveling to the inner city to watch polls is scary. It is probably scarier to do nothing.

Since the time of me originally posting this, I've learned much. Poll watching is not what many of us thought. I've also learned with the rules of polling stations some poll watchers will be outside the building because of how many feet away they must be from specifics in the station.
I now recommend everyone get trained and "WORK" your polling stations. I've done that and I can also be called to work other poll stations in my county. We have to go all the way and do the full work. Poll watching won't do it for us.

Sharon and Steve's excellent site is focused on Illinois, but it can work ANYWHERE if people are willing to take a stand for vote integrity. Hope the valuable information they have will help more.

Apparently, here in N.Y. no one seems to care about the voter registration form that is designed for citizens of NORTH AMERICA.
Does the following mean that citizens of Canada and Mexico can feel free to vote in our elections without repercussions since they are citizens of North America?
The following two links at BOE offices offer Spanish voter registration forms that in the first line ask, "¿Es usted ciudadano norteamericano?" ("Are you a citizen of North America")

In Pennsylvania there was a wide spread "error" in the electronic polling machines. I suggest paper ballot, which here means absentee ballot. Since only God Himself knows the future, you can honestly say you are preparing for a possible inability to get to your poll. Especially if you are assigned to work a poll that day.
That said, the point is to have your vote honestly counted, and to see that the votes of OUR SIDE are honestly counted.
I suggest that this is not the time to be high and mighty, and while I do not suggest you cheat, if the other side messes up, it is not our job to fix it.
Also, I think Betz has hit on a great idea. Always do the area you know best first, since you might catch that vote cast by aunt molly, who died six years ago. Also, I think Betz meant rural areas are UNlikely to have fraud. :-)

I believe one way to determine legal voting addresses is to get a list of all properties of voters in a district and get a list from the post office of all residential addresses. Compare them against each other. This will be a time consuming project and needs to be started now. Areas that are likely to have voter fraud such as small towns, farming communities, etc should be by passed to support and help check the larger areas such as metropolitan areas which will need much work. Some voters list can be put on disc and then converted to a data base. This would have to be check locally. I will do some checking with the post office and some cities such as Detroit. Will update when I have something to report.
