Our families from Europe came

To start our life anew

And in the fertile western ground

Our livelihood we grew.



We fought for Texas liberty

Then, as our nation split asunder

For both North and South we fought

Brother against Brother



We fought in the War to End All Wars

And in the vicious World War II

Us Texans fought on our ancestral lands

And in the Far East too



When the Korea Conflict came

Riots on the Texas Border

I'm just wondering why there is no news coverage on the riots in the Texas/Mexico border towns.



CNN seems more interested in the love affair that Canada is having with Pres Obama. Meanwhile Texas goes on alert! No coverage in the last hour at least.



Hello! Anybody but us worried? Last I checked we were still in the union. Maybe a little Federal support would be nice, at least an appearance by somebody connected with Washington DC. Maybe Homeland Security?

How to post "live" URL in posts at PFA............. Adding URLs in blog posts that are not "live" is a waste of everyone's time.....
Here's how....if anyone has better guidance send to me.....
First........type your text entry into the post block to include typing or paste the URL you want us to view........when finished with the text, highlight and copy the URL in the text.......then click the "add hyperlink" tool in the B, I, U box just above the text entry, after clicking, a window will open asking for the URL...paste the URL in the box and click "OK". You have now made the URL "live"...........it shows some code before the post is published, it goes away when you "publish post".......
