Really Let Down from Sarah

Difficulties are never ending in the conservative movement. I am a member of Team Sarah. I joined because I supported Sarah Palin. Now as time has passed she has really disappointed me over the past several months which goes to show you it is near impossible, it seems, to get past the personality and oration ability and pick a person for office that deep down has one thing, one goal and that is cleaning up Washington DC.

The "camps" are no longer! They were Islambergh(google them) about 110 miles S. West of Albany and another one 80 miles due West of Albany. They both closed up shop quickly and quietly shortly after.
My feel on it is that "we" had some connection with both for intel purposes. Drones based in Newbergh, were scene many times flying very close by those areas.
I have a confidential contact with HLS who told me to stay away from them as I might "upset" something that may possibly be in play. I took it as a big...keep out! I was organizing an all patch(HAs/69ers etc) biker, poker run to the camps and was checking exact location from him for same. That's when he said back off!
We were going to use balloon launchers to propel pork product like artillery rounds into their camps. I advised him to open up anything "local" they have in place and listen for their distress calls... the rest is history...

We have gotten in two young horses to try and finish training -- one of them is just green-broke and will take a lot of time to get ready. The other one is farther along, but shy/skittish somewhat. So we have our hands full. Add to that taking care of several locations and it's about a full time job.

Tim OKelley said… - Yep...the 2nd Amendment is under serious attack right now and has been for a few years. You are correct that we should never let those crazies ever take that away from us. The NRA is a very powerful lobby and I doubt that any serious damage could be done. However, it becomes a slippery slope once you start legislating gun ownership by type of weapon, the use of the weapon, and what tax you put on them, or the ammunition. But those days seem to be over at just chipping away our freedoms, now the current administration and congress is taking away huge hunks of our freedoms.

- You, again are correct in your assertions. I am very fearful of the current administration as well as Congress. Their agenda is not open to public scrutiny of any kind. They all talk a good game, some more impressive than others, but their deeds speak volumes about what they really believe. They want more for themselves and to secure it, they will take from the people. I don't know at what ends they will go, but am fearful that it will be extreme. Our current president actually believes he is the Second Coming, in my opinion and will do anything to keep that hope alive, including not being straightforward with any information that could tarnish that self made image.

- Valid points, all. I agree with you that you can't change America to back where is was 100 years ago, but we do have to try. I've had some success with discussions with others, but it does take time and they have to come to this decision on their own. I've managed to convert several that I work with into changing their views on current events in the past month. And as more of our liberties are being taken away from us, it becomes easier, even for those not so inclined to become involved.

I'm a retired US Navy vet but still have to work to maintain a reasonable standard of living. I believe that it is groups like these that will change the direction America is heading back to what the Founding Fathers envisioned. If we don't do it, no one in Washington will. Not with our current administration and Congress.
