I would like to address ALL those in uniform - military, police, federal agents; also those family members here who have family members in uniform or know of others such as friends. We need to remind them of their DUTY to uphold their Oath of Office/position. I am retired from military and for at least 50 years bound by the Oath I took to "protect and defend the CONSTITUTION from ALL enemies foreigh and domenstic". The government is triing to change that oath to exclude CONSTITUTION for White House. (much like Hitler) Please remind uniformed personnel their Duty is to the Constitution; not the government nor individual. I know some in luniform who will follow orders and pledge their Duty to the government and will turn on fellow Americans; friends; even family members. When the order comes for "them" to enforce the turn-in of private weapons, will they be with us or against us. I know many former and retired members hope we do not need to fight them. PLEASE explain FREEDOM and responsiblility to uniformed members of your family or friends. I feel the time is coming FAST. God bless us.

By the way, I am a PATRIOT which the government now classifies as a terrorist. I voted for Ron Paul; I am a gun owner; I have all kinds of stickers on my car; I am outspoken; I have run for federal and state office with a very Constitutional platform used by third parties; I support only Constitutional candidates; and once again I am going to spend my own money to run for local office - anyone want to help this terrorist????????

i signed that letter tonoght to both of my senate critters, dont think it will do any GOOD?? their both DEMOCROOKS.
i know the kids today DON'T know the constitution like we were taught when i was a kid going to school.
but they HAVE to REALIZE if their ordered to fire on others, they MUST think then WHO IS FIRING ON THEIR FOLKS?? if we wont give up our arms.
id HATE to have to fight our OWN TROOPS over this DISARMENT ISSUE, but i would have NO PROBLEM fighting with ANY OF THE UN TROOPS.
not knowing if your a combat vet as i am??
but once BLOOD is spilled, then ALL BETS ARE OFF, ANYONE that fires on me and mine, i will respond in kind, thats called SURVIVAL.

I do not believe the states would ratify any change to the Constitution that would change the Oath. No doubt the pretender in the White House wishes he could mandate it. His administration has come a long way to classifying most patriots "domestic enemies." The military will obey commands to control unruly crowds and that is the reason as we protest we can't let some hot heads appear to be threatening. There are active duty units who have been and are being trained to control mob violence as their main function - a fairly recent plan that scares me to death.Of course from time to time while in the military I did receive a smattering of crowd control training, but that was not the purpose of my units - we were just training to back up the military police if required. I don't know what consideration is given to lethal applications in their training. Some one higher up in the administration must think they are necessary. As far as I know - and I could be wrong - the Uniform Code of Military Justice does allow for failure to obey an unlawful command. To use lethal force against American citizens at least to me is an unlawful command. It is a different story if I felt my life was threatened - like the troops at Kent State, but then again it could be that Commanders not put their troops in such a situation.
Unfortunately as our economy spirals into oblivion, joblessness increases, government dictates become more intrusive and abusive, there is bound to be violent demonstrations in this country. There are also just too many of us who gave most of our lives efforts in the defense of this Republic and won't sit helplessly by as it continues its march towards socialism. There is a breaking point when we all come together with but one purpose - save this great country of ours and it better happen soon.

Scott, the Oklahoma National Guard was also called in for Katrina. When they were delivering food, water, blankets etc., they were shot at by the thugs which our troops did not shoot back, they left and regrouped. They did not go back in shooting.

Katrina was a local liberal government that didn't know what the heck they were doing. I also have some friends working the red cross. They went and they were stopped and not allowed to go in and help those who chose not to leave and was stuck. They were told they would be arrested if they went in.

i have spent a lot of time on the RANDY WEAVER AND WACO ISSUES, and ATF AND FBI DONT HANDLE TANKS, and there were NG TANKS AND CHOPPERS AT WACO, and that now DEAD B---H ANN RICHARDS was the Governor of Texas at the time those people were MURDERED..
another ALL law enforcemt had better DESIDE on WHO'S side their going to be on when the issue becomes REAL, because they LIVE in our towns and cities, and IF? their AGAINST the people?? they will NOT be hard to find and deal with, but id like to think they will be on the side of US WE THE PEOPLE.

"all enemies, foreign and domestic"..... as a decorated combat vet myself, I would never have followed what I perceived as an unlawful order. I like to think I was able to then and that our troops now can also make the distinction between who the real enemy of the constitution is and who isn't. They are not all illiterate brainwashed conscripts, I assure you.

I know some who are still serving, and word is, they believe the same as we do, that the document that binds this country together is being shredded in front of our eyes. They know the emperor has no clothes, the same as we do. I do not fear them acting against us as a whole, no.

Just another thought then I'm off to bed. I don't know about other states but here in PA if you are registered as an Independent, you can still petition for Nov ballot. Cutoff date is Aug 1. Local elections are a good place; most mayors control the police department!!!!! Let's see more of us running for office.

in reading everyones posts i think we all feel we have more faith in our young men and women in uniform than we do the law enforcement people, when it comes down to WHO?? will or WILL not fire upon us just because we REFUSE to give up our arms.
i HOPW were all RIGHT?? i do have some doubts, call it a 6th sense about this, i am ALWAYS WEARY of others when it comes to PETTY NANNIE WANT A BE TYRANTS with TO MUCH POWER and being able to CONVINCE others to GO ALONG TO GET ALONG.
we always talked about some OFFICERS who would step on ANYONE to get their TICKET PUNCHED and advance at the cost of others.
i saw it in Vietnam, not a lot but there were times, and it was mostly from those staff officers in the REAR, not line officers, who went into danger with us, we WILL see this when the order comes down for DISARMENT of the American people, were fixing to face TIMES THAT TRY MENS SOULS.

We absolutely MUST educate our young military. I have spoke with many and asked the question. They look at me like I'm stupid. I have to remind them that they took an Oath to the Constitution NOT a president, senator, congress, or a higher ranking service person. Please educate them and do it NOW!! I don't think we have much time left before all hell breaks loose.
