Thank you - I've written countless things on this bill and everything I read always misses that last part. The A.G. being able to ban at will is worthy of armed conflict but saying that a rebuttable presumption exists that ANY weapon bought by FedGov is automatically banned - WOW. Just the fact that a REPRESENTATIVE could put those words onto paper and present them - that's automatic treason. Let's say FedGov had decided to buy Cheney a new mossberg 500A as a joke - well, that's automatically BANNED! FedGov has a problem with squirrels in the capitol building and they buy an old Remington Nylon 66 - BANNED! Now, on top of that, we all know that not only that particular gun would be banned but EVERY model of that type. This is beyond a political issue and the mere fact of its introduction can easily be seen as a Declaration of War.

Any law that places limits of any kind on gun ownership is an infringement of the Second Amendment!

Time for a Second "American Revolution?"

It's been time for that, Dave, since 1913

Enacting Bans and getting Banned weapons away from the gun owner is, of course, two entirely different issues. There are few law enforcement types in Georgia that will go along with any such program. Same for most of the South, South-western and North-western States. Those that would are prepared to enforce such tyranny will soon learn hard lessons of neccessity.
I think I'll go into deeper debt and buy a couple or six more ugly old assault weapons. You can never have to many, ya know. Or to much ammo. By the way - if you haven't got a few skotched away out of sight yet; you might want to consider the idea. Couldn't hurt.....
