Egregious Disrespect of the US Constitution Requires Your Assistance

Update on NH Status . . .

The Federal government has gone far enough. We need to draw a line in the sand. If there is further egregious, serious disrespect of the US Constitution by the Federal government, then New Hampshire must reclaim its sovereignty.

HCR6 came out of committee with a surprise "Inexpedient to Legislate" recommendation.

For those that remember it, this is a replay of the resistance against the bills to get NH out of Real-ID. This is unacceptable. Fortunately, we have a playbook. We know what it takes to move this forward: MASSIVE PUBLIC SUPPORT!

* Emails
* Phone calls
* A massive rally
* YOU!

I could be wrong, but "Inexpedient to Legislate" means there is no constitutional or statutory basis for this bill. In short, it is mere talk and blather with no teeth in it. There must be legal precedent, amendment to the constitution or secession legislation to call for state sovereignty. The county sheriff already has as much authority as this bill states.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for it 100%. The federal government has stepped way over the line and we must put a stop to them. I live in Texas, but also agree with the comments from militiaman and Egan. I support you in these efforts. Please keep up the good fight. Someone has to take this stand and start the ball rolling. It may as well be from a state that weilds the political clout as NH. Go for it!

There is constitutional and statutory basis . . . Which makes it all the more important it gets the attention it needs. Coming from the only other state to (Texas) to have been a sovereign nation (California was briefly the California Republic in June of 1846) you should understand this well.
I do understand your point however, and yes that is the basic swill of "inexpedient to legislate". Coming from 3rd the largest parliamentary body in the English speaking world (NH Reps) one would think they could fit it in.

Judge Rules: bin Laden Attack Photos to Remain Classified

A federal appeals court in Washington DC Tuesday affirmed that the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) acted properly in refusing to disclose 52 post-mortem images of al Qaeda Osama bin Laden as the images were properly classified as Top Secret.

The case was brought against the CIA and the US Department of Defense (DOD) by Judicial Watch, a non-partisan organization that aims to promote transparency, accountability, and integrity within the legal and political spheres, and which operates under the motto: “Because [...]

U.S State Dept. Report Critical of Treatment of Muslims in Spain

The US government released its latest report on religious freedom in Spain.

Prepared by the US State Department, the report is an annual survey of how religious tolerance and freedoms fare in different nations across the world.

“The [Spanish] Constitution and other laws and policies protect religious freedom. However, some local government policies restrict the religious freedom of minority religious groups, including Muslims,” states the document released in Washington on Monday.

It cites instances in some cities where Muslim groups charge that special [...]
