Politics New Book Claims Obama Complained About Taking Pictures With Troops During Trip to Baghdad

Author and Rolling Stone contributing editor Michael Hastings’ new book, The Operators, could cause waves for President Obama’s reelection bid — not to mention his already tenuous relationship with U.S. troops — as book excerpts reveal the president was less than enthused to be photographed with troops during a visit to Baghdad.
The following excerpt describes Obama’s visit to Baghdad and subsequent irritation at a request to take additional photos with soldiers and embassy staffers:
After the talk, out of earshot from the soldiers and diplomats, he starts to complain. He [Obama] starts to act very un-Obamalike, according to a U.S. embassy official who helped organize the trip in Baghdad.
He’s asked to go out to take a few more pictures with soldiers and embassy staffers. He’s asked to sign copies of his book. “He didn’t want to take pictures with any more soldiers; he was complaining about it,” a State Department official tells me. “Look, I was excited to meet him. I wanted to like him. Let’s just say the scales fell from my eyes after I did. These are people over here who’ve been fighting the war, or working every day for the war effort, and he didn’t want to take f*cking pictures with them?”

I read this on the Blaze, Twana, and was hoping someone would post it here. I don't know how to do stuff like that. In my research for knowledge I come across things that I feel would be of interest to others here, but ...Thank you for posting this. Hope it gets a lot of feed back, and I know it's made it to a few other sites.

The only shock here is WHO is reporting this story. It came from a contributing writer to Rolling Stone.... REALLY??? That is the shock of it all, Rolling stone is as Liberal as they come and for anything to come from them or one of their writers that sheds a negative image on BIG EARED BARRY is amazing.

Truthfully, if he is found ineligible on the GA ballot I would think that would make him automatically ineligible on any ballot for the Presidency!! The Constitution is what determines who is eligible and thus NO OBAMA!!!

Juanita, if the judge in the GA case rules that Obama is NOT a natural born citizen then it is up to the Secretary of State to remove him from the ballot. What this will do for any other states is to set a legal precedent which can be cited in their own lawsuits and will make it infinately easier to win their cases and get him off the ballot. We are just 10 days away from what may be the most significant court ruling in the history of this country. Once we get him off the ballot in GA it won't take very many other states to make it impossible to win if the Dems insist on nominating him. It could lead to an interesting Democratic convention even if he is off the ballot in just one state. I can't wait to see what happens on January 26th.

After reading all the comments below, I said a prayer...and ask for God's help to get Obama removed from our whitehouse...I feel like we have all been held like hostages since he took office. And like so many others, I fear what all he can and will do IF he goes in for a second term. God help all of us if he is re-elected. He has had his way for too long in the higest Office of the United States...and I truley feel he has laughted at the Office and our Country far too long...it is time for someone, like the judge in GA to tell the truth and NOT allow Obama to serve one more day after Jan. 26 2012! He needs to be escorted out of our whitehouse...and all laws and bills passed need to be null and void...and begin all over. And hope we can heal the damage done, not only here in America, but around the World as well. God help us...

Terry Jones to Burn Qurans on 9/11
The Rev. Terry Jones is planning to burn 2,998 Qurans on Sept. 11 in Tampa, though the exact location of the event has not been announced.
But on Jones’ Facebook page, Google Maps directs attendees to an exact location in West Tampa.

Muslim Terror Cell in Israel Plotted to Murder, Steal Body
The Shin Bet revealed Tuesday that in recent months it exposed a terrorist cell in the Hevron region that was planning to steal an Israeli citizen’s body, in hopes of trading the corpse for imprisoned terrorists.
The cell was affiliated with the Islamic Jihad terrorist group.
Several members were arrested. They were identified as Matez Mahmoud Taleb Abido, Bashir, Ayeed Mahmoud Zahada, Hazam Ouni Mahmoud Tawil, and Abdullah Mahmoud Ata Abido.

Seven Muslims in Myanmar Receive Extensive Sentencing for Role in Riots
Seven Muslims have been jailed for their role in religious clashes in the Burmese town of Meiktila in March.
The Myanmar news site Mizzima reported that the men received terms ranging from two to 28 years.
