THE SILENCE OF PATRIOTS

My fellow Patriots, what are we doing? Are we too busy to understand the current risks to this country or are we just plain old lazy?

As a member that has been along for the ride for some time with PFA, I must admit that I’m concerned about our group, but so are others. We enjoy a membership of over 1,450, but given the threats to this country by socialists and communists within our country, that number should be 1,000 to 10,000 times our current numbers. That is, if Americans understand that every single freedom that we enjoy today, is scheduled to disappear over the next several months.

Let’s face it folks, the ONLY honest thing the socialists and communists are guilty of, is laying out their plan and acting on those plans in rapid fire order.

The ONLY reason this country is in the situation it currently faces, is that the same Patriots and good people of this country that foresaw what would happen, remained largely silent or at best, found cause to fight with our own side.

Conservatives outnumber leftists in this country by a margin of better than 6 to 1, yet because of one BS reason or another, we allowed the socialists and communists to take over control of Congress and the Presidency, in addition to the media, educational, healthcare and our judicial systems.

Would Congress be controlled by the leftists today, had American Patriots held our own politicians to task?

Certainly not! But while we complained and railed against the unbridled spending and lack of true republican (not party, but conservative) closely held values over the last 8 years, did we vote them out of office in favor of a true conservative? No! How did we let almost 75 million conservatives stay at home and not vote at all?

Now this country is up to it’s neck in debt, socialism, unfunded mandates and a federal government that is hell bent on destroying this nation, it’s wealth, it’s productivity and the freedom of 320 million Americans. Are you still too busy to take a stand?

Look at how many blog posts go without comment by this membership. How can we say that we’re engaged in this issues, when most of our members can’t write a line or two in the comment sections of the blogs?

To make my point even more clear, wander through all of the blog posts and see how few of us take the time to proffer our thoughts by posting a blog subject.

If this membership, and Patriots in general is made up of followers, the game is over. America needs and requires Patriot leaders that are willing to step forward and be counted in swelling our ranks, our efforts, ideas and thus, our overall impact.

At PFA, we do have leadership in the form of Col. Riley and those members that have been part of the Impeachment Team and Research Team and those that spend their valuable time as site administrators. But now, PFA sits at a crossroad, every bit as troublesome as we do with the very direction of this country.

Let me VERY clear. My following points (as are the words that preceded it) are NOT authorized by Col. Riley, PFA or anyone, other than myself. No one has requested that I submit the following to this membership.

Before each American today, lays but four options for our personal and country’s future. We can:

(1) Do nothing and let what happens, happen by mumbling our personal complaints to each other only.

(2) Spend our time calling, writing, emailing or faxing our government for redress.

(3) Seek redress by a formal and legal judicial Constitutional National Criminal trial.

(4) Reclaim our government by armed force.

How many of us really expect that choosing #1 will do anything to preserve and protect this country, it’s sovereignty or our freedoms?

How many of us can claim that any of the calling, writing, emailing or faxing our government for redress, has changed a single action in the last 60 days?

Some people believe in Option #3 and some do not. All would like it to work. Perhaps if everyone looked at the long view, rather than the short view of Option #3, minds would change. What is the short view? The short view is one that begs the question of judicial impact, i.e., will it work or will it not, in directly removing those politicians and private sector persons that have broken our laws, their Oaths and or the Constitution.

The long view is, I believe, more to the point. Option #3 if done correctly, supersedes a bias media and the indifference by those in power to ignore acts of civil disobedience, anti-tax parties, Tea Parties, petitions, or calling, writing, emailing or faxing our government for redress. It also addresses the leftist judicial system that is clearly in the tank for the leftist socialists and or communists.

How?

By taking the issues of the People’s right to redress, directly in front of the American People, without for the first time in modern history, the shaded veil of a biased media coverage, political grandstanding, legal linguistics and or courtroom gymnastics that are employed to defer the rather simple approach to such trials, of determining a right or a wrong, depending only on the evidence and testimony, as permissible under our laws. Option # 3 does not depend on party politics, agendas or the skill and daring of over paid legal snake oil salesmen.

Likewise, Option #3 does not expose its self to a federalized Court system that seeks to determine the case on the basis of agenda of the Court or it’s supporters. As such, the jury of 100 (or one or more of it’s 50 alternates) shall be the sole finder of fact, not the Court.

But to be clear, Option #3 will be VERY costly to employ, as no National Grand Jury or a trial, if required, can be held via the internet, phone or even teleconferencing. By the very nature of these proposed efforts, they must be done in a live format. A conservative estimate of such cost, could be expected to range from $326,500.00 to $500,000.00 for the National Grand Jury and an additional $979,500.00 to $1,500,000.00 for the trial, if a “True Bill” is proffered by the National Grand Jury. These costs include airfare, lodging, food, ground transportation, printing and binding, conference / courtroom rent. In the case of a trial, the cost of a satellite TV channel or proper advertising, are NOT included in these cost estimates.

The best method to assure the proper funding levels for our legal efforts, would be for this membership to encourage and or demand that Col. Riley form a non profit corporation. But no one should expect Col Riley do so, without at least 40% of the PFA membership making such a request. In simple terms, if you agree that a non profit corporation is the best way to raise the needed funding, get off your collective butts and let Col. Riley know you support the idea. It’s your personal responsibility to do so…do not depend on others to make your claim for you. Based on the sorry turnout of those volunteering for the National Grand Jury, this membership had better wakeup and damn fast. I can show you the way, write the briefs and proffer solutions, but if this membership is too lazy or self centered to stand up and play a real role in these efforts and solutions, all is for naught and the communists will rejoice, while the rest of us will be nothing more than the leftist’s fodder.

I expect few problems in recruiting “deep pocket” Patriots to help fund our work. This would include many in the Hollywood elite, business owners, professional athletes, common Patriots and more. But without a non profit organization, nothing will happen.

Then there is Option #4. If you can’t support Options #2 & #3, Option #4 is nothing more than a false hope.

So in conclusion, the solutions to this nation’s problems and the very real threat of losing every freedom that we now enjoy, is in the hands of each and every PFA member. You can continue to do nothing or you can stand with myself and other’s that have already made the tough decisions. Are you REALLY too busy to defend your country by letting Col. Riley know you want PFA to become a non profit corporation or that you can be counted on as a PFA Jurist or a PFA Defendant? Talking tough and acting outraged is NOT good enough my friends. You MUST be willing, able, ready and available to ACT NOW!

I think the non-profit idea is excellent. I may be able to help with fund raising, research and organizing meetings/events. I need to have credible tools/documents to use in order to present our intentions since so many don't want to face the truth and are resistant to dealing with it. . How do we distinguish ourselves and sell our ideas/purpose to others as a reasonable solution without looking like overreacting, crazy extremists? I am so....frustrated at the complacent attitude of so..........many. I am not afraid of speaking my mind, don't care if others think I'm crazy, don't care if my friends run from the doom and gloom lady but I do care what happens to this country. I have three children I am obligated to protect, a responsibility I take very seriously. It is indeed my responsibility to do whatever it takes to protect this county and it's constitution in order to fulfill that obligation to my family.I could not in good conscience live with myself if I ignored what is happening and did nothing. I have spent time on Option #2 and have been sending emails to friends and family in hopes of getting their attention. I have researched and studied economics/history/philosophy to better understand the current situation in addition to following the many blogs and media channels hoping to find evidence that maybe I'm wrong(NOT). I thought people would start to wake up but fear that until something profound like a terrorist attack happens they will remain in la la land. I am willing to serve on the Jury if possible( have two children at home/limited finances). I strongly believe some of our representatives need to be brought to justice.
I haven't posted on blogs other than a few comments but today I would like to share something I wrote in October 2008(when the first stimulus package dominated the news). This was published in our community paper but not until after the election.


Where is Our American Pride?


Our son returned home this week from college during fall break.
He is currently in the Naval ROTC program at NC State University. He was proudly wearing his Navy Uniform when picked up by his father on Wednesday. He remained in this attire after arriving home to proudly greet his girlfriend in uniform. He spent over an hour re-pressing and putting all the right creases in his uniform late on Thursday night to wear again on Friday to proudly show it off to his friends attending a local university. Witnessing this pulls at the heart strings of his mother and makes her very proud. She is not very proud of this country however, the one her son wants to proudly serve. Have we forgotten what is important and more concerned with bank accounts and being pampered? What happened to the American pride demonstrated after 9/11? Where is our pride in this countries accomplishment? Where is our pride in ourselves when we stoop to believing everything the media tells us and not taking the time to become educated voters? Instead of all the doom, gloom, and finger pointing let’s all promote patriotism by proudly hanging our flags, supporting our troops and demanding that those who represent us including the media show us a little respect instead of continually insulting our intelligence. It is time for us to put on our uniforms and fight to continue to protect the freedoms we have taken for granted. Let’s unite to continue to spread the democracy that has provided us the choice to wear any uniform instead of giving all our power to the media and political parties. Our country was founded without their helping themselves.
Our son is not currently receiving any compensation or education expenses for the time he spends in the Naval ROTC program but has freely without persuasion chosen to pursue a military career serving his country. His uniforms however the US Navy/Government/Tax Payer does provide (Thank-you!).
Seeing my son wearing his uniform so proudly puts everything in perspective, now that’s “American Pride”!

Option 3 is a good strategy, if and only if, it can recieve the proper recognition of the public AND of the courts of our land. To do so requires funding and it also will require the support of the few like minded legislators in our Congress. Thus, option 2 must also be pursued. Obviously that means that registration as a non profit organization is essential. There are two types of non profit registration available to us, 501 (c) 3 and 501 (c) 4. C-3 requires that we are totally non-partisan and non-political, C-4 allows us to be a political PAC. I say again that we will need the support of like minded individuals in our Congress to be successful and I personally don't care if they call themselves Republican or Democrat as long as they are Americans first. These two options cannot be the only viable options considered either. As my brothers and sisters in the VFF (Vets for Freedom )have realized, the ability to lobby (yes that hated word, but it IS a powerful tool) in Congress is one of the better ways to achieve success for your cause which is why they have both C-3 and C-4 certification. Lobbying efforts should not only be at the federal level but at the state and local level as well.

One more important issue is that with ALL the similar organizations currently being organized, we might find ourselves all running on the same treadmills and even in opposition with each other if we are not willing or unable to coordinate and cooperate with each other. I know COL Riley and I'm sure that he'd agree with me on one point, we can NOT allow our individual egos or organizational egos to interfere with the attainment of our goals. If Glenn Beck's organization ends up taking a primary leadership role in any coallition we might form due to his 9-11 Project's greater numbers and his daily capability to advertise that organization's goals and progress, then so be it. It's far more important to me that we save the Republic than that we gain fame and recognition and I'm sure that's true of most in PFA.

Just my 2 cents worth.

As for being a PFA jurist or defendent I am more than willing to volunteer as a jurist.

The National Grand Jury and or the resulting trial is NOT dependent on the current government system as we know it. The Constitution grants the American citizens the right to hold the state and federal levels of government responsible for their actions or inactions. I too agree that PFA needs to be incorporated as a non profit, in order for us to raise the funds required to go further with our legal actions. There are any number of TV and radio outlets that will jump on board, if we act responsibily.

Many have requested that we join other Patriot sites and while I have little problem with that, few if any are as far along as PFA is, in the legal effort.

For me, #1 was NEVER an option and while I have worked as hard as anyone on #2, the doors and ears remain in a locked, sealed and secured condition. Those in power simply don't give a rat's ass what WE the People think.. that much is clear.

To those that think the answer to our national problems can be found in creating a never ending list of new Patriot sites, I say that more doesn't translate into the action we require.

While I do not discount those that seek to run for office, in an effort to save this nation, one community at a time, I only question if this nation has the time to do so.

For those that seek to bypass #3 (the legal option), why? Is it your claim that we have enough forces, planning and supplies to take the offensive? I think not. While I have NO problem in picking up arms to defend and return this nation to a Constitutional Republic, I sincerely believe we owe this country and it's people, the right to exhaust every other option before blood flows.

Let's find the common ground for our efforts and use every effort to reach our goals, before we call to arms.

I know I may sound stupid but on the America-Again site I was reading that Declaration when under "Therefore" in (iv) it starts talking about new national currency. I don't want any new national currency. That is what I am afraid Obama is going to do after he goes to that G20 summit. Maybe I am misunderstanding what it means. If a new national (or one world) currency is started, our dollar may not be worth anything. Can anyone help me with this?

I have posted information that has been totally ignored. I have worked in law for over 35 years. I know a lot of dirty little government secrets and I also know how to overcome them. I am being ignored. If you will accept my help and my knowledge this will all end and we can get the Republic and the states back. My offer is falling on deaf ears. I will soon give up. BRAVO! Well said Dennis! I agree with all said. A non profit corporation would be an invaluable direction for the cause. It is important that a huge group be created, as to bring monies in, and also draw lobbyist for our fight. Though I will respectively disagree that we could draw much, if any from the Hollywood elites, as 97% of them are liberal/socialist trash, and I would consider them an enemy combatant! While we tend to look at lobbyist as despots, even below lawyers, they are a necessity for us in getting our case forward. We NEED representation for the people. The big companies have these people on board, and it certainly is advantageous for them. I have been following option 2 for quite some time now, as it is almost impossible to get anyone charged up to the point where they would commit themselves to anything that involves their personal being to be put out on the line. I am a field representative for Unitedpatriotsofamerica.com, and it is staggering when the time comes to put up or shut up arrives, as you can't get anyone to show to support this country and its fight for the people. I am also a team member of firecoalition.com, and I am the only one in my county of south Jersey. Everyone is willing to be a keyboard patriot, but will not put their person on the ground when it comes time to be truly accountable. Now I am in no way diminishing the roles that keyboard warriors play in fighting a role in reaching out to the traitors in the congress. But as said often, we need boots on the ground. And first and foremost, we need funding to create a substantial presence where we the people can be heard. Because as you've stated, what has been heard from the people to the congress in the last 60 days? Not a damn thing! We have a tyrannical House speaker going around undermining the rule of law, and a Senate leader who is working daily to subvert the will of the people. The traitors in congress must be charged in their duplicity against this nation and its citizenry.And that goes for the criminals that work for the smelly one, and the members of his cabinet. And when all else falls, as we can't even get the Supreme court to validate the eligibility of the usurp Obama, then option 4 will clearly be our form of redress for this nation. I would be sorry to see it come to that. But if we are not heard, then I cannot see another way out of this debacle. It worked when we ousted the English, and what is different from now that was the norm of then? We are being taxed without representation. But worse... we are being betrayed from within by our own people. My powder is dry, and I will fight for my country. God bless America!

PFA has my support. However, and I think that we've found this out in the pro-troop arena, conflicts, widely different goals, and a lack of mutual support and fulfillment of promises can severely damage the message. My suggestion was not to join other organizations but rather that our leadership make contact with the leadership of other organizations and begin to coordinate a reasonable OPLAN for the attainment of our mutual goals. In the pro-troop realm, I was fortunate to become a member of Eagles-Up early after my retirement from the Army last year, I hold membership in both VFF and Move America Forward but my primary loyalty is to Eagles Up. The same holds true with PAF. I believe that the enemy within is still decades ahead of us in terms of their organization, experience, and their capability to put aside their personal goals, whether it be the imposition of communism, socialism, anarchy, radical environmentalism, atheism, or greater rights for animals than for people and to unite in one major organized protest, lobbying effort, PR effort, for one goal at a time. Let Code Pink put out the call and you will have ANSWER, NIMN, World Can't Wait, and a plethora of other radical fringe groups show up on the streets of DC presenting street theater that the national media cannot ignore.

We need the same kind of numbers, locally and nationally, as they've had to put forth the message that we have to give and our fragmented groups all seeking the one major goal of saving the Republic will not be able to do that easily. THAT is NOT to say that we shouldn't proceed full speed ahead with the National Grand Jury. We should. But I believe that we do need to expand our strategic options and a coallition with other like minded groups might well help with that.

A comment on option 4. I've recieved many emails concerning joining a group of other vets/retirees which recommends that I take an oath to never relieve American citizens of their arms. The thing is that I took an oath about 27 years ago which is more than adequate that, in part, pledged me to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign or domestic. Simple logic would indicate that by swearing that second oath that I may well have to set aside my original oath. The second oath sounds nice and good and honorable but what if the citizens to be disarmed were the "enemy within", those who've brought us to this time of crisis? I cannot ascribe to such an oath and choose to remain faithful to my original oath of office that I took when I was commissioned. IF option 4 were to become the only method of keeping that original oath, then I would do it, but I believe that we must try every other method available to us first. I would urge those who support moving directly to option 4 to consider exactly how they intend to combat artillery batteries, A-10s, Armor etc. I would also ask them to realize that the Global War on Terror is real and that a conflagration in CONUS would only open our doors wider to them and to our other international enemies. The obvious answer to that is a war of attrition and the use of guerilla tactics. I wonder how many folks could really survive a war such as that over the long term.

Just thoughts. I really am more than willing to serve as a jurist BTW.
