IS OBAMA TAKING US INTO THE TOTALITARIAN SOCIALIST REGIME AND AWAY FROM FREE ENTERPRISE AND INDIVIDUAL LIBERTIES?

As a former political science and history student, my education taught me that Totalitarianism is a term used in political science to refer to an ‘ideology or organization' whose goals and aims are to control every aspect of my life. For personal political reasons, totalitarianism has now become an issue with me.

Before the 20th century, communications were not fast enough to allow a central government to collect information on a large number of its citizens in real time, the mass media was not developed enough to allow the existence of all-pervasive propaganda, and weapons were not effective enough to allow a relatively small number of armed soldiers to control a much bigger unarmed population. In the 20th century those technological barriers fell, and totalitarian government became a possibility.

Countries that have had Totalitarian power previously have had Individuals with ‘personality cults' built around them. Sounding familiar? All used similar means - extreme forms of censorship and police state tactics as well as other things - to force their authoritarian rule and to bend the people's will to their position. Is the Democrat Party controlling Congress part of the ‘personality cult' and currently bending the people's will with ramming the ObamaCare down the people's throat? 52% and growing against!

As such a ‘welfare state' involves a direct transfer of funds from the public sector to welfare recipients, but indirectly, the private sector is forced to contributing to those funds by authoritarian redistributionist policies through taxation. Sounding familiar? Thus, the welfare state has been referred to as a type of "mixed economy."

For me, that is exactly what I see, and that is exactly where we are headed; and we were already partially there before the advent of Obamanomics! Stop the liberal, socialist tide before it is too late! Get out the vote in 2010 and support true conservatives, private enterprise and Individual liberties for all!

Of course he is. He is the antichrist spoken of in the Bible that is going to make everyone take the mark of the beast. The Bible says that he will change laws,rase taxes,do according to his own will,prosper towards the south,the east,and the pleasent land. Feel free to stop me when I get one of these wrong. And No I'm not saying this for any other reason than what I "SEE" the Bible says about the antichrist. He fits perfictly so far. He will destroy our Constitution, make war with Christians,and our dollar will come completely down. Then the mark of the beast will come out and sadly ALL people "whose names are NOT found in the Lamb's Book of Life," will take the mark. Just wait and see.This Country will be divided in the process.

This is all that I ask,take a deep breath and exhale slowly,then make it a priority to visit as many of the men and women 's graves ,who died to keep these United States free,dont just stand there,ASK them,talk to them,they are the Angels of FREEDOM,they will tell you what you need to know, for they still watch over us all.

Greg, you wrote pretty well exactly where my thoughts were coming from. I wanted to merely raise the question and, hopefully, get others to seriously think about where we are with this Administration and political process! Your reply shows the depth and reasoning that everyone should have in thinking about our government and where we are today. Unfortunately, we must be in the minority, otherwise, no self-respecting citizen and voter would have voted this 'puppet' of the Soros' Open Society Movement into the highest office of the land. I, personally, don't believe he has the 'brains' to do this without the powers that be behind the Throne!

Some times I get so upset about all these intellectual terms such as these "ist,ism's, left,right, etc. people are put in all the wrong group types. I only know 2 groups. The Obedient Children of God and Jesus Christ who really does know how to rule and has True understanding of how Godly Government functions, and children of the devil who only disrupt,want more controll,or just let everything go.

Susan, the best thing for all of us to do is to get involved in the local politics for your area and state. Start looking at what those running for office really stand for and what their true ideas are for their constituents when they are elected to office. And, most importantly, be active in campaigning, supporting and voting for the candidates of your choice to make sure they make it to office! A thousand miles starts with one step at a time. We all now have an opportunity to make a change in 2010 elections and send a message with our vote!

Dear Susan and everyone else, I agree with you. I admire your passion and zeal. To be honest I don't know what to do. Our problems as citizens is " organization." I have a family to support from day to day and I try to obey the laws as much as possible. What needs to be done is total organization in a entire syncrinized fashion. The majority of people aren't willing to do that.
Jesus Christ say's "occupy till I come." This New World Order is here just like the Bible said it would be. They will succede in doing what they want to untill God brings them down.(Not Man) I don't like it anymore then you do. Your a fool if you really believe in elections. We live in a corrupt,backslidden, unGodly society that does't care about rightous Constitutional Minded leaders. Now we have too many foreigners over here voting against us as we are now the minority. This is also a curse that God sends on a backslidden country.
I'm going to pray that God leads me in what to do. I'm not hanging on to prosperty, I'm hanging on to Jesus Christ and My Faith. His will and Salvation for me is enough, don't be distracted in these perlous times. Keep your eyes on Jesus because we will suffer.
