No man thinks more highly than I do of the patriotism, as well as abilities, and the good initial intentions of the very worthy gentlemen and women who have led our nation from July 4th, 1776 to the present day. But different men often see the same subject in different lights; and, therefore, I hope it will not be thought disrespectful to those gentlemen and women if, entertaining as I do opinions of a character very opposite to some of theirs, I shall speak forth my sentiments freely and without reserve.
This is no time for ceremony or to be concerned with propriety and non-offensive commentary but first and foremost for the sake of the E Pluribus Unum common good best interests of our country and all our countrymen we must speak out and with Veritas… Truth! Truth in all facts, truth in all analysis, and truth in all opinions. The question before the nation today is one of awful moment to this country. For my own part, I consider it as nothing less than a question of freedom, liberty, and justice with equality for all; and in proportion to the magnitude of the subject ought to be the freedom of open and honest expression in this debate.
It is only in this way that we can hope to arrive at the honest truth, and fulfill the great duty and responsibility which we hold to God and our country. Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offense, I should consider myself as guilty of treason towards my country, guilty of failing my fellow countrymen in this important mission, and guilty of an act of disloyalty toward the Majesty of Heaven, the Supreme Leader of mankind, the teacher of justice, which I revere above all earthly kings, potentates, self-ordained religious priests or elected political leaders of men and women.
Mr. President, and all members of the once esteemed body of our Congress, it is a natural act of man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren till she transforms us into uncivilized beasts. Is this the destiny and role of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? Are we disposed to be of the number of those who, having eyes, see not, and, having ears, hear not, the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation? For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know and to express the whole truth; to know and to acknowledge the worst and it is every citizens duty to encounter and engage these factors and to provide for them accordingly even if common sense suggests drastic action will now be required!
I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, one beacon by which my soul is led and one drum beat by which my heat is driven. That is the lamp of learning and experience and that includes the learning from history, from my ancestors and yours. I know of no way of judging of the future but by the past. And judging by the past, I wish to know what there has been in the conduct of our nation’s leadership of the last half century to justify any hopes with which gentlemen and women have been pleased to solace themselves and live hopeful upon.
Is it that insidious smile and chuckle with which our petition has been lately received by the political and government leaders? Trust it not, ladies and gentlemen; it will prove a snare to your feet. Suffer not yourselves to be betrayed with a kiss and a smile and a statement of “trust me”. Sadly “In God we Trust” is no longer the accepted and respected motto of this nation thanks to a misguided body politic, an ineffective, inefficient and dysfunctional Congress, an unqualified and likely ineligible leader at the helm of our Ship of State and a very confused and historically blind judiciary. Ask yourselves how this seemingly insincere but gracious reception of our petition comports with those warlike preparations of our government FEMA and Homeland Security Agencies… These are now covering our waters, darkening our land and building a war-like machine with an aggressive posture here in our homeland!
Are fleets, brigades and armies with billions of rounds of ammo and concentration yards forcing a meeting with Patriot Militia or Minutemen… Are these actions necessary to work the truth and bring about a reconciliation? Have We the People shown ourselves so unwilling to be reconciled that force must be called in to prevent us from winning back our county, our democracy, our freedom, our liberty? Let us not deceive ourselves, ladies and gentlemen. These referenced armaments are the implements of war and subjugation; the last arguments to which, in days of old, kings resorted, and in this day career politico’s now appear to resort.
I ask you ladies and gentlemen, what means this martial array, if its purpose be not to force us to submission? Can you Career Politico’s assign any other possible motive for it? Has our own national government and the political arena an enemy, in this quarter of the world, to call for all the accumulation and assemblage of armies, munitions and police might? No, sir, you have none. For We the People are all merely good American patriots. These preparations are meant for us your fellow countrymen, they can be meant for no other. They are an ominous warning sign readying to bind and rivet upon us those chains which this government of devious motives, lost and selfish mission and a dubious agenda has been so long forging. And what have we to oppose to them? Shall we try argument? Ladies and gentlemen, We the People have been trying that for the last several decades without any apparent success.
After three disappointing and disillusioned Presidential tenures… the assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the arm twisting, political manipulative maneuvering and beginning criminal breaching of the Social Security Trust funds of Lyndon Baines Johnson, and the Watergate and Ellsberg scandals of the politico’s under and who brought down a decent foreign policy leader, Richard Milhouse Nixon… our national disillusionment has now turned off our trust, our faith and our confidence in the political arena.
The 1963 to 1973 disappointing decade was followed by four trusted, decent and honorable leaders in Gerald R. Ford, James Earl Carter, Ronald Wilson Reagan and George Herbert Walker Bush. Their two decades in power lulled us as a nation into an apathetic and complacent era of a Rip Van Winkle-like political, fiscal and foreign policy slumber. This was a time in which you, the “Career Politico” creatures, in whom we entrusted the power, took advantage of the moment and built your dynasty of power. We the People focused not on the political arena but rather on personal lives, careers and our families. We developed the equally selfish “what’s in it for me” generation in the nation’s populace. You Career Politico’s lost focus of the E Pluribus Unum common good best interests of all America and for all Americans, you hijacked our political machinery, you captivated the political arena and kidnaped our government systems. You built selfish monuments to yourselves, became rich at the expense of good government and your own integrity, constructed a power base and gained a solid grip on the political system of national governance.
Unfortunately however you were not aligned with the all-important voice of “We the People”, nor in-tuned with the “Will of the Majority”, nor guided by the “Consent of the Governed”, but rather were selfishly lead and fueled by the almighty bucks of the lobbyists and special interests who now rule in DC.
Our nation has over the last half century become paralyzed and plagued with a disease I call our “Einstein Electoral Insanity” which played into the career advancing mission of the Career Politico’s. We repeatedly elect the same individuals to one office or another, while they are selfishly–focused and have become an untrustworthy lot.
Have we anything new to offer upon the subject? No, nothing! We have held the subject up in every light of which it is capable; but it has been all in vain. Shall we resort to entreaty and humble supplication? What terms shall we find which have not been already exhausted? Let us not, I beseech you, ladies and gentlemen of the nation and the entire body politic, deceive ourselves. We have done everything that could be done to avert the storm which is now coming on. We have petitioned; we have remonstrated; we have supplicated; we have prostrated ourselves before your thrones of power and political allegiance. We have implored its interposition to arrest the tyrannical hands of your almighty political machines, and their influence peddling Executive, Legislative and Judiciary seats of power. Our petitions have been slighted; our remonstrances have produced mere additional animosity and insults; our supplications have been disregarded; and we have been spurned, with contempt, from the foot of your thrones! In vain, after these things, may we indulge the fond hope of peace and reconciliation.
The Congress, the White House and the Judiciary have reached all-time low approval ratings in the teens or single digits. There is no longer any room for hope. If we wish to be free - if we mean to preserve inviolate those inestimable privileges for which we have been so long contending - if we mean not to stop the noble struggle in which our forefathers fought we must now act anew.
Specifically I am reminded of my sixth great grandfather, Colonial Militia Commander John Moore, who on April 19, 1775 in Concord and Lexington, MA, began a fight for our nation’s independence as he led the colonial militia forces on the Concord Green. That was a similar battle for righteous self-governance not un-like that in which we have now been so long engaged, attempting to refocus the national leadership mission. We have pledged ourselves never to abandon this goal until the glorious object of our contest shall be obtained! We must now again however willingly stand and fight!
I repeat, ladies and gentlemen, of both sides of the political aisle, Career Politico’s of three, four or five terms or more in public service, who broke the bank, emptied the treasury, and misguided our foreign policy into a costly nation building agenda beyond our borders you must stop! You have been ignoring the defense of our own 12,000 miles of domestic border and shoreline perimeter, and your continual overspending grew our national debt into an impossible to pay off oblivion! Ladies and gentlemen of the Career Politico genre, you leave us no choice but to ask for your voluntary resignations or we will fight! An appeal to arms and to the God of hosts is all that is left us!
They tell us that we are weak; unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a federal government guard shall be stationed on every corner of every town or village? Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our government shall have bound us hand and foot? Ladies and gentleman, we are not weak if we make a proper use of those means and the courage which the God of nature hath placed in our power. The millions of people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy, foreign or domestic, can send against us.
I for one have met, mingled and worked with our domestic enemy and it is us! With our plagued and paralytic Einstein Electoral Insanity we repeatedly, time and again, term after term, election after election, continue returning the same poor Career Politico’s to one public office or another and when term limits kick-in they merely play musical chairs with their selfish-serving, over-spending, bank busting, comrades-in-arms, and we foolishly expect a different result after each election cycle!
The Career Politico dynasty and power base was built upon a mountain of indifference, apathy and complacency, by our own blind ignorance favoring these repeat offender’s over fresh new blood, with new ideas and a worthy pay-as-you-go fiscal agenda without deficit spending and continual national debt building.
This came about because of the self-centered focus of Career Politico’s, fueled by special interests and ideologues with stubborn and bigoted views they put before God, country and the E Pluribus Unum common good best interests of all America and for all Americans. They ignore the fact that every vote must be counted and every voice has an equal right to be heard on all issues and without condemnation!
You can rest assured, ladies and gentleman, we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations, and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us and with us. The battle, ladies and gentlemen, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave, those with a will and a purpose. If you should think we have cast our lot with a small group of Civilian American Militiamen in this nation, think again as we have a following of at least Ten Million strong. But in any case, viewed as big or small in the total picture of things, mark my word about our dedicated, focused and committed mission. I often paraphrase the late, famous and world renowned Anthropologist, Margaret Meade, who is credited with saying words to the effect, “never doubt that a small, dedicated, committed and mission focused group can change the course of the nation or the world, for indeed it is the only thing that ever has!”
Besides, we have no valid election anymore. The checks and balances of the electoral process have failed us, just as the protections of the U.S. Constitution have also been ignored by the Congress, the Executive and the Judiciary branches of the federal government under the guise of national security and national defense.
If we were base enough to desire it, it is now too late to retire from the contest. There is no retreat but in submission and slavery! Our chains are forged! Our disgust and disappointment and our clanking chains can be heard among and above the loud din of life in the hills and the valleys, on the mountain tops and along the streams, rivers and every lake shore!
The war is inevitable--and let it come! I repeat it, ladies and gentleman, let it come.
It is in vain, to extenuate the matter. People may cry, Peace, Peace-- but there is no peace that can come from or be earned by merely crying! The war is actually begun but nary a shot has yet been fired. The next gale that sweeps from the north will likely bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field, spread far and near, all across this land! Standing ready to join forces from the plains of Boston to the beaches of San Diego, from shores of Honolulu to the snow capped peaks of Anchorage, from Seattle to Charlotte, from the southern-most point in the USA in Key West to the Mile High City of Denver, from the Alamo in San Antonio to Ft. Sumter in South Carolina, and from Plattsburgh, New York to Concord and Lexington, Massachusetts where it all began on April 19, 1775!
Why stand we here idle? What is it the disgruntled, dissatisfied and disillusioned yet unconnected American’s wish? What would they have? To paraphrase patriot Patrick Henry I ask, “Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery” in domination by self-serving and selfish-focused Career Politico’s putting us in modern day shackles of servitude to governance? “Forbid it, Almighty God! For I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!”
