The folks at the DC Chapter of Free Republic asked me to get the word out about a high profile FReep on Capitol Hill on Monday and Tuesday for anyone in the area that can cut themselves free for a few moments;
Sorry for the late notice but just found out that a small ground swell of FReepers will be at the Senate Hart Building this Monday and Tuesday. In particular, Jim Robinson, FReeRepublic founder, will be flying in from California for the two days. Note, he is in a wheel chair so it will be easier to pick him out.
The face time with senators will help to stop this socialist bill, along with all the calls that everyone has been making.
Please pass this on and please help FReeRepublic on Monday & Tuesday if you can spare some time. If someone can post this on Gathering of Eagles, that would be great.
This link below provides some details but this was quickly organized to just get in the senators’ faces, before some type of quick vote. There does not have to be any one “in charge” since no permits are required, just visit a senator that will help stop this bill.

U.S State Dept. Report Critical of Treatment of Muslims in Spain
The US government released its latest report on religious freedom in Spain.
Prepared by the US State Department, the report is an annual survey of how religious tolerance and freedoms fare in different nations across the world.

Two Maids Sentenced in Saudi Arabia to 10 years, 1,000 Lashes for Sorcery
A Saudi court sentenced two Asian housemaids to 10 years in jail and ordered their lashed 1,000 times each after they were found guilty of indulging in sorcery at their employers’ houses in the Gulf Kingdom, a newspaper reported on Monday.
Their Saudi employers reported the two maids to the Gulf country’s feared religious police, saying they had discovered that their families had been harmed because of sorcery practiced by the maids against them.

How to post "live" URL in posts at PFA............. Adding URLs in blog posts that are not "live" is a waste of everyone's time.....
Here's how....if anyone has better guidance send to me.....
First........type your text entry into the post block to include typing or paste the URL you want us to view........when finished with the text, highlight and copy the URL in the text.......then click the "add hyperlink" tool in the B, I, U box just above the text entry, after clicking, a window will open asking for the URL...paste the URL in the box and click "OK". You have now made the URL "live"...........it shows some code before the post is published, it goes away when you "publish post".......
