Constitutional Emergency

For many years I have been preaching and teaching the Constitution to all that would listen and to all that would learn.

I find it odd and peculiar why We The People that own the Constitution are always leery of demanding that the federal government actually fulfill the Oaths that they take upon their inception into Congress.

Just for the hopes that someone does in fact know what an Oath is but never understands what the Oath means, I will place this here at my first blog post at Patriots for America.

Words mean something -- to some.  Others feel that words only mean something when they can screw you out of your life.

From The Snooper Report...

Does anyone have a dictionary?  Are Oaths taken out of reverence or are they merely a matter of convenience and no one follows what the Oaths are for?

Oath of Office for the Congress Critters:  (I will add my comments in bold print accordingly)

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter.  So help me God.

Solemnly: formal and dignified : a solemn procession.  not cheerful or smiling; serious.  characterized by deep sincerity.  [ORIGIN Middle English in the sense associated with religious rites]

foreign and domestic: those that demand the adherence to the United States Constitution are not, and I repeat - NOT - the enemies of the State.  Sorry libtards.

true faith: One true faith, the religious concept that claims superiority over other beliefs

allegiance: loyalty or commitment of a subordinate to a superior or of an individual to a group or cause : those wishing to receive citizenship must swear allegiance to the republic | a complex pattern of cross-party allegiances.

obligation: an act or course of action to which a person is morally or legally bound; a duty or commitment.  the condition of being morally or legally bound to do something

mental reservation: a qualification tacitly added in making a statement, etc.; an unexpressed doubt or criticism.

purpose of evasion: an indirect answer; a prevaricating excuse.  the action of evading something

faithfully discharge: in a loyal manner.  in a manner that is true to the facts or the original do all that is required to fulfill (a responsibility) or perform (a duty).  do all that is required to fulfill (a responsibility) or perform (a duty).

so help me God: is a phrase often used to give an oath, and most commonly required as part of an oath of office. It is also used in some jurisdictions as a forth of oath for other forms of public duty, such as an appearance in court, service as a juror, etc.  The essence of the phrase is a request to divine agency to render assistance (help) by being a guarantor of the oath taker's own honesty and integrity in the matter under question, and by implication invoking divine displeasure if the oath taker fails in their duty in this regard. It therefore implies greater care than usual in the act of the performance of one's duty, such as in testimony to the facts of the matter in a court of law.  The use of the phrase implies a greater degree of seriousness and obligation than is usually assigned to common conversation.

How many Congress Critters take their Oaths this seriously?  How many?  I will venture a guess that perhaps that MAYBE there MIGHT be 10 or so in the House and Senate that really do give a damn.  Everyone else?  Remove them from office because NONE of them "swear" on anything...they just "take the Oath" because it is a convenient ploy to lie, cheat and steal...from We The People that OWN the United States Constitution.

Oath of Office for the President (if we have one):

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Utilize the definitions above for president.  Thanks.

Does anyone follow their Oaths anymore?  Do they?

Yes, it is and it MUST stop being merely a facade.  Oaths are real and words do mean something.
