I was not allowed to "campaign" at the OKC TEA PARTY January 16, 2010, but I did get on stage during Open Mic and read the following which was well received. My hopes is that it will spread and do more than just receive applause. Please join me in my "mission.":
OKC TEA PARTY 1-16-10, Open Mic:
My fellow Americans, my name is Jeff Pritchard from the great city of Mustang, Oklahoma. I declare to you that without T’shuva and Treason being addressed properly and immediately, that this nation is in greater peril than many understand or admit. Without T’shuva, the Tea Party movement will fail. It will be like a hot air balloon that will soon fall to the ground in the middle of nowhere. Unless we call it what it is, Treason, then the Constitution and Republic are nothing more than passionate campaign slogans to inflame the passions of the ignorant masses.
"AS the safety and prosperity of nations ultimately and essentially depend on the protection and blessing of Almighty God; and the national acknowledgment of this truth is not only an indispensable duty which the people owe to Him,
but a duty whose natural influence is favorable to the promotion of that morality and piety, without which social happiness cannot exist, nor the blessings of a free government be enjoyed; and as this duty, at all times incumbent, is so especially in seasons of difficulty and of danger, when existing or threatening calamities, the just judgments of God against prevalent iniquity are a loud call to repentance and reformation;
I HAVE therefore thought it fit to recommend…
That all religious congregations do, with the deepest humility, acknowledge before GOD the manifold sins and transgressions with which we are justly chargeable as individuals and as a nation; beseeching him, at the same time, of his infinite Grace, through the Redeemer of the world, freely to remit all our offences, and to incline us, by his holy spirit, to that sincere repentance and reformation which may afford us reason to hope for his inestimable favor and heavenly benediction;"
To those of you who say that T’shuva and Jesus Christ have no place in the public discourse, I remind you that the words I just read to you are a portion of a Presidential Proclamation in 1798 coming from one of our Founding Fathers who signed the Declaration of Independence and served as our second President, John Adams.
I served in the Army during the first war with Iraq willing to die in the fight against our foreign enemies. Now I ask you to join me in the fight against our domestic enemies. T’shuva and Treason! Where do you stand America? Join me! Unite with me! Fight with me!
We've had a false messiah thrust upon us with promises of hope and change, telling us, "yes we can." But, he has given us nothing but lies and tyrrany. There is a Messiah, who is our nation's only hope of deliverance now, just as He was at the birth of our nation. He is our only Hope. He is our Way, Truth, and Life, and, America, yes, ONLY He can. Yes, He can. Yes, He can.
