Attention all USCDA members. All members that are mission ready and on USCDA's emergency roster please advise HQ's of your ready status and await orders from HQ. USCDA is responding to Texas and Oklahoma disastrous storms and flooding with search and rescue teams including disaster relief.

Attention all other USCDA members who can not respond personally to this disaster. Please contact national and local suppliers and get donations. Whats needed NOW!! ICE, bottled water, freeze dried foods, army cots, tents. Blankets and medical supplies. 

Start your own local USCDA Chapter

To start a chapter in your area you must be a Leadership member with the USCDA. You will receive a Chapter Charter Certificate. Package of needed By-Laws, documents and training information and includes an official USCDA Cap.

Things to do as a county USCDA chapter leader

 

Recruit new members in your county.

Make sure that first all your local chapter members are trained in CERTS. Find in your county or city the CERT hands on training program that is available to all members.

Recruit other like mined folks in your area.

Recruit other existing CERT members, HAM operators, American Legion, VFW, Preppers, survivalist and other groups in your area to join the local USCDA chapter.

Find a CERT instructor to instruct a CERT program for your local USCDA chapter.

Attract instructors in your area to instruct on relevant subjects and become members.

Basic areas of instruction for local members:

Community Emergency Response Teams (CERTS)

Disaster relief.

Basic 1st Aid

Wilderness survival

Hand gun, rifle and shot gun safety and training.

Emergency preparedness.

Map and ground navigation.

Preparing fort apache. (A safe haven for local and traveling members WTSHTF).

Bug out route. (To fort Apache)

How to prepare each members “Mission Ready Gear”. (Bug out gear)

Offer certain USCDA courses to the sheriff’s deputies and to the sheriff’s constituents (public).

Encourage members to take as many relevant FEMA on line home study course as possible.

Have regular greet and meet activities and training opportunities for chapter members and guests.

Encourage guests and members to become USCDA leadership members.

Raise local chapter donations/funds.

Idea’s & Suggestions for promoting more local members for your chapter.

Set up at your local or nearest home show, gun show and other public events. Pass out info. Refer folks to our web site www.uscda.us  Sale our caps!

Start your own Local USCDA chapter Web Site.

Google “Meet Ups” Start your own local Meet Up page. Then recruit other like minded meet up groups in your area. There should be other like minded and groups. Attend there meetings and recruit. Wear your official USCDA Cap and/or uniform.

How to post "live" URL in posts at PFA............. Adding URLs in blog posts that are not "live" is a waste of everyone's time.....
Here's how....if anyone has better guidance send to me.....
First........type your text entry into the post block to include typing or paste the URL you want us to view........when finished with the text, highlight and copy the URL in the text.......then click the "add hyperlink" tool in the B, I, U box just above the text entry, after clicking, a window will open asking for the URL...paste the URL in the box and click "OK". You have now made the URL "live"...........it shows some code before the post is published, it goes away when you "publish post".......
