Constitutional Emergency

In August I was elected precinct delegate with five other people in my township.  I got them organized in two meetings with our goal to monitor school boards and judges because schools indoctrinate and judges make decisions by which we must live or die by.  My action caused other delegates from other townships to copy us and get organized.  I also was elected to the GOP county executive committee.  I belong to C4L and also go to other Tea Party meetings/events.  Every month I attend at least two township meetings, one GOP executive meeting, one district meeting, several meetings pertaining to education, C4L meeting, plus any special meetings that I attend for township business and the ZBA board I am on.  Now add to that conventions, fund raisers and other meetings that I will be attending gives me quite a full plate.

Now if I can get involved and still continue with my family and friends events, I ask what are you doing??  It is not hard to get involved.  There are a lot of benefits.  You start seeing how government functions and which people should not be elected or re-elected.  You have fun and meet nice people who care and learn a great deal about our Constitution and other matters.  SO what I am saying is if you have not gotten involved - do so.  I guarantee, you will be fascinated with the experience.  Our GOP Chair has organized the precinct delegates into county commissioner districts.  In other words the townships / cities / villages in our county are combined into their commissioner's district so they can be more effective then each small group in the individual government bodies aforementioned.  My township has five soon to be six active delegates with two slots to be filled.  By doing it by district ( I am Chair at present for my district ) instead of 6-8 delegates we will have up to 45 if we fill all the open delegate slots which means we will have a lot of influence at all levels of government.  With seven districts in the county with approximately 45 delegates per district there are approximately 295 precinct delegates available to work in their areas to get conservative Constitutional candidates elected.  District meetings in place of the local precinct meetings are more effective and efficient.  There are more people to take part in getting things done.

Since I started out of the gate early, my local precinct delegate meetings have morphed into the district delegate meeting nicely.  Three local delegate meetings followed by one morphed district meeting and from there we will be meeting every month to carry on business.  I hoping that I will hear that someone has been encouraged by my adventure into being a precinct delegate.  Yes there benefits and you will enjoy them.  Lead if you can, if not follow and if neither just listen and learn.

P. S.  One of the benefit I have received is the nice compliment of other delegate groups telling me that they want to imitate what my groups does.  They ask what we have done and what we plan on doing.  So we consider that a great compliment.  My group is made up of go getters and they are on the move!!!!
