Wes Clark always was a jerk; Powell now finally moves into the category of "so incredibly dedicated to the democratic party that he has become a Zombie....  See Bob Hope's classic script....

Comment by Luke P. Patrino on October 31, 2012 at 9:02am

Colin Powell was an obscure Army Col who George H. W. Bush brought into the Reagan Admin. Everything he accomplished in his military career was because of G. H. W. and G. W. Bush. He like almost every other African American that back Obama just because he's Black. Powell doesn't know what being loyal means. Paul is right Clark has always been an idiot. Bet you can add 2 more to Mitts impressive list. The General and the Admiral that Obama relieved for trying to assist those who were left to die in Benghazi.

Good.  They should be setting up a plan to save America from obozo and his band of thieves and thugs if they steal the election.  They should let everyone know that they will not stand down for grand thief our voting rights. Now is the time to warn that any sniff in the air of election fraud will cause a true revolution that will return this country to Constitutional law and deport any traitor or person claiming loyalty to the cult of islam.  It time to be ready to march.

I use to think highly about Powell, but every since he changed his stripes to Democrats, he is worthless - he has no more standing with me. He deserves the same treatment as the rest of the DemoRATs and the Rhino Republicans.

Thank you, Jager, for your comment.

Thank you for this timely list; much of my anxiety has been allayed. One of the reasons that I became a member of Patriots Union was because of the military presence; to me, their stance is trustworthy and competent. Thanks for this.

When one enlists in the United States Military, active duty or reserve, they take the following oath:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

Seems like pretty good motivation to obey any order you're given, right? Nope. These articles require the obedience of LAWFUL orders. An order which is unlawful not only does not need to be obeyed, but obeying such an order can result in criminal prosecution of the one who obeys it. Military courts have long held that military members are accountable for their actions even while following orders -- if the order was illegal.

If any law infringes on MY Constitution, it is NOT Lawful.

Whether Obama is reelected or not, Treason charges should be considered against him, as he has done harm to America, and he has infringed of The Constitution of the United States of America, which I have sworn to defend. Any former President gets a life time pension, and 24/7 security detail for all the members of his family. Obama has done to much damage to America already, and we do not need to reward him with a life time pension and security.  The Military, active and Veterans, do not want to be President, but are sword to protect The Constution of the United States of America, and will do with our lives.

Striking a Deal over Syria at the G8 Summit

Striking a Deal over Syria at the G8 Summit:

World leaders were close to striking a deal on pushing for peace in Syria at the G8 summit on Tuesday amid conflicting reports that certain leaders clashed on a roadmap to resolve the conflict.

Sources at the Group of 8 conference told Reuters news agency that the leaders disagreed in talks about the nature of a transitional government for Syria.

The Destruction of the Syrian Air Force

The Destruction of the Syrian Air Force:

The Syrian Air Force has suffered major losses in the last year, as the aircraft and helicopters were unleashed on rebels (and civilian supporters) and took a beating. Of the 370 usable fixed wing war planes the Syrian Air Force had two years, about half are now out of action because of combat losses or wear and tear. Nearly two-thirds of the 360 helicopters are gone, for the same reasons.

Part of the problem was [...]
