You really need to see part two of this interview to get the point that Ayn is getting at. That man has a right to his own life, to include his own money that he earns at a job.
the government does not have a right to what I earn. I am the one who goes to a job and works in exchange for money. If anyone takes what I earn through the use of force or the threat of force it is robbery. If I am working only for the government to take it I am reduced to slavery. The right of majority rules is crap. I have an unalienable right to life and liberty. No vote of a majority should be able to take that away, but we see it more and more every day.
Another evil phrase is "for the common good". If all of us citizens took a vote and 51% of us voted that "for the common good" you should be put to death, we would be taking away your right to life. Yet our rights are being taken away every day "for the common good."

Hundreds of Afghan interpreters who served on the frontline with British forces in Afghanistan will be offered the chance of a new life in Britain after a government U-turn, it was revealed on Wednesday.

Report: Iran is Expanding its Nuclear Activities
Iran is making significant progress in expanding its nuclear program, including in opening up a potential second route to developing the bomb, a new U.N. atomic agency report showed Wednesday.

How to post "live" URL in posts at PFA............. Adding URLs in blog posts that are not "live" is a waste of everyone's time.....
Here's how....if anyone has better guidance send to me.....
First........type your text entry into the post block to include typing or paste the URL you want us to view........when finished with the text, highlight and copy the URL in the text.......then click the "add hyperlink" tool in the B, I, U box just above the text entry, after clicking, a window will open asking for the URL...paste the URL in the box and click "OK". You have now made the URL "live"...........it shows some code before the post is published, it goes away when you "publish post".......
