The Machine: The Truth Behind Teachers Unions
America's public education system is failing. We're spending more money on education but not getting better results for our children.
That's because the machine that runs the K-12 education system isn't designed to produce better schools. It's designed to produce more money for unions and more donations for politicians.
For decades, teachers' unions have been among our nation's largest political donors. As Reason Foundation's Lisa Snell has noted, the National Education Association (NEA) alone spent $40 million on the 2010 election cycle (source: http://reason.org/news/printer/big-education-and-big-labor-electio). As the country's largest teachers union, the NEA is only one cog in the infernal machine that robs parents of their tax dollars and students of their futures.
Students, teachers, parents, and hardworking Americans are all victims of this political machine--a system that takes money out of taxpayers' wallets and gives it to union bosses, who put it in the pockets of politicians.
Our kids deserve better.

The best answer would be for teachers to rebel and quit the Unions. Unions have outlived their usefulness and are nothing more than a bunch of organized criminals lining their pockets. They use coercion and mob mentality to survive. It always amazes me when I think of the first settlers of America; no Social Security, healthcare, nothing and certainly no unions. It was the Fabian Society, a British Socialist Society along with Andrew Carnegoe that started the change in Education in America bringing with it, Socialism. Hitler knew that re-educating the youth was the key to changing society. Its those old adages about cooking a frog or how do you eat an elephant? one small step at a time and suddenly people wonder "wha happen?" Americans ARE waking up and hopefully will vote out all these parasites out and dump the Unions bigtime. Follow Wisconsin's lead, folks!!! Education needs to start at the local level. AT HOME.

I have a few, very few, friends that are retired school teachers. The unions have brain washed them. You can not even talk to them about the direction this country is headed, they will say they know what they know because the unions said so and that is the end of the discussion.

The unions are mobsters and must be stopped, today society is the same as the movie Bonnie and Clyde. It's time to take back America, by actions of prayer,talking to teachers,etc. Remember folks tomorrow is 911, united we stand forever.Lets thank a policeman,fireman, etc.

Here in Tennessee am told that the county school system is a separate branch of government but, there is not one school official with a valid oath of office.

Terry Jones to Burn Qurans on 9/11
The Rev. Terry Jones is planning to burn 2,998 Qurans on Sept. 11 in Tampa, though the exact location of the event has not been announced.
But on Jones’ Facebook page, Google Maps directs attendees to an exact location in West Tampa.
The directions are very specific. Motorists are told to exit the interstate and get onto East Floribraska Avenue. Eventually, drivers are told to “turn right onto North Ola Avenue, and then immediately turn left onto West Street.”

Muslim Terror Cell in Israel Plotted to Murder, Steal Body
The Shin Bet revealed Tuesday that in recent months it exposed a terrorist cell in the Hevron region that was planning to steal an Israeli citizen’s body, in hopes of trading the corpse for imprisoned terrorists.
The cell was affiliated with the Islamic Jihad terrorist group.
Several members were arrested. They were identified as Matez Mahmoud Taleb Abido, Bashir, Ayeed Mahmoud Zahada, Hazam Ouni Mahmoud Tawil, and Abdullah Mahmoud Ata Abido.
Hazam Tawil and Abdullah Abido have served previous prison terms for terror-related crimes.

Seven Muslims in Myanmar Receive Extensive Sentencing for Role in Riots
Seven Muslims have been jailed for their role in religious clashes in the Burmese town of Meiktila in March.
The Myanmar news site Mizzima reported that the men received terms ranging from two to 28 years.
