Art of War by Sun Tzu

 Art of War by SunTzu

[This is the basic text of Sun Tzu on the Art of War. It was extracted from Mr. Giles' complete work as titled above. The commentary itself, which, of course includes this work embedded within it, has been released as suntzu10.txt (or suntzu10.zip). This is being released only as an adjunct to that work, which contains a wealth of commentary upon this text.]

The Art of War has 13 chapters. You can click on the Chapter Number to go to that chapter directly.

Each chapter is hyper-linked to its corresponding Chinese text. You may switch back and forth between the English and the original Chinese text, by clicking on the link at the end of each chapter.

  • Thank you Twana

  • Like God's Word, another valuable book that withstands the test of time.

Another website I found years ago www.backwoodshome.com has information about self-reliant living and there are articles on personal defense by Massad Ayoub a former LEO from Boston, I believe....

I also have www.mypatroitsupply.com  there is actually a plethora of valuable FREE information if you take the time to look at the websites.  There are also some Kooks out there too....browser beware!

  • Nice,I got into this a year or so ago.Good to know.

  • Good to see it come around again,Thank you,

  • This book, together with Machiavelli's The Prince, were the late Lee Atwater's two political bibles.  He applied principles in "The Art of War" to politics and he was successful in blindsiding the opponent.  I worked with Lee in over 20 US Senate and House races and most importantly in the 1980 Reagan campaign.  He was in charge of the Southeast for the Reagan Camp.  Needless to say, I learned a lot from Lee.  We both went to Washington and worked in the Reagan administration.  I only stayed 5 years.  The Lord blessed us with a daughter and my wife and I did not want her to grow up in a foreign country (DC), so we moved back to God's Country (The South) and raised her.

Lee was a brilliant man and taught many of us how to design winning campaigns using these principles and tactics.  They work quite well in politics.
