Expose your legislators voting records

Here's some thing you can all help with;

I'm trying to compile a list of all gun registration legislation. Any and all federal fire arms restrictions bills,

Any and all bills that were submitted for consideration, any kind of registration bills, restrictions, ban on gun types, (assault weapons) any thing that matches or comes close to any of this.

And then I want the names of the House and senate representatives that voted for any of those bills.

Even if the bill did not pass and was never enacted into law.

Help us out here folks; put those fingers to work, Get the bill numbers, House or senate. and the the names of the reps that voted for it.

  • OK - I have copied the lists, except for those referred to subcommittee, and will start at the top with 2012 H.R. 58 and work my way down.  If anyone else wants to start at a specific bill and work down from there, just let me know where you are starting so we don't waste time!  Thanks.

  • Texas Rose - I think I love you...........
    OK, Folks, now here's the trick behind this request for this information.

    When any US Representative, (House or Senate) entered office, each and every one of them swore an oath to obey and defend the Constitution of The United States of America.
    Every time one of those people introduced or voted to approve one of these bills they effectively have violated their oath of office. They have in effect voted in violation against the Constitution which they have sworn to protect. They have effectively committed a criminal offense against the people of the United States of America. It is a criminal offense to attempt to subvert the rights of the people. The Second Amendment states; The rights of the people to bear arms "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED", and anyone attempting to introduce any such legislation which infringes upon those second amendment rights has violated their oath of office. Violations against the oath of office or violations against the rights of the people could be sufficient grounds for expulsion from Congress. Being expelled from office has nothing to do with any political election cycles. Once they are expelled - they are out. And then they may even be subject to criminal charges after that.

    And the Second Amendment is not the only Constitutional issue that may be considered in any of this. Violations against any part of the Constitution may be subject to the same treatment.
    We The People, and OAS are coming to D.C. And we're done playing games.

  • Let me preface this by admitting I am by no means familiar with the various legislative processes but will do the best I can.  I am only looking at Republican votes.  Have researched 112th Congress legislation from H.R. 58 thru H.R. 2900 - all except 2 were referred to committees or subcommittees and apparently died there (no comparable current session bills found).  The only 2 that passed (easier to report the Nays and No Votes since there are far fewer of those):

    H.R. 770 became H.R. 915, PL 112-205 Jamie Zapata Border Enforcement Security Task Force Act:

    Yeas: Repub 220, Dem 171 - Nays: Amash, Paul; Not Voting: Bachmann, Benishek, Brady (TX), Burton (MO), Fortenberry, Guinta, Sam Johnson, Jordan, Landry, Lewis (CA), Mack, Marchant, McCarthy (CA), Neugehauer, Palazzo, Roby, Rohrabacher, Turner (NY), Young (FL)

    H.R. 2219 became H.R. 2055, PL 12-74 DoD Funding Bill:

    Nays: 5 - Amash, Campbell, Duncan (TN), Flake, Paul; Not Voting: Broun (GA), Cole, Herger, Rokita, Stivers
