  • Good place to start. Every state needs there own Firearms Protection act. That should be just the being. Ther are many places the Government, wings need clipping.

  • 4 Sections of the WA Constitution DECLARATION OF RIGHTS.......

SECTION 1 POLITICAL POWER. All political power is inherent in the people, and governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, and are established to protect and maintain individual rights.

SECTION 2 SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND. The Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the land.

SECTION 3 PERSONAL RIGHTS. No person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.

SECTION 24 RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS. The right of the individual citizen to bear arms in defense of himself, or the state, shall not be impaired, but nothing in this section shall be construed as authorizing individuals or corporations to organize, maintain or employ an armed body of men.

Secton 2 is in 49 other States Constitution in various legal forms or words to that effect.   We must ENFORCE the Constitution of the United States REGARDLESS of what is thrown at us.

  • The final wording in the 2nd Amendment of our Costitution goes as follows, "... the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."  Infringed, as defined by Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary,  "1:  to encroach upon in a way that violates law or the rights of another.  2: DEFEAT, FRUSTRATE - ENCROACH."  The Constitution is THE LAW!  End of report.

    • my e-Sword has a Webster's 1828 Dictionary which defines it as:

      Infringed

      INFRING'ED

      , pp. Broken; violated; transgresses.

Either way as Clarence says IT IS THE LAW......"can't touch dis!"

  • That is good ...

What good was Dick Act of 1903?

    Acts are good ...

We have to ACT to defend it!

  • I agree C.M.  the point is the Law justifies the rebellion....thus we are not rebelling against but FOR Righteousness......Americans are tolerant.........until you cross that line, the question is WHAT will that triggering event actually be and WHEN will we realize we have reached it?  As I write this I am watching Ancient Discoveries......

Kautilya's Arthashastra Book XII 'Concerning a Powerful Enemy' states:

"...he who bows down to all like a crab on the banks (of a river) lives in despair; whoever goes with his small army to fight perishes like a man attempting to cross the sea without a boat."

The only comparison to 1776 or 1865 will be the instigation of the war,  the engagement will be far worse than anybody will imagine, as when it comes down to the nitty-gritty True Americans will NEVER Bow to a DICTATOR.

    § 6 Bearing of arms.

    Sec. 6.

Every person has a right to keep and bear arms for the defense of himself and the state.

By golly, Nancy Pelosi was right — they didn’t know what was in ObamaCare until it passed! Of course, in this case all she needed to do was ask her buddy Harry Reid, who apparently sandbagged his party’s gun-control wing by inserting an interesting clause in the 2800-page bill that no one in Congress bothered to read before voting on it. CNN’s Jim Acosta reveals the restriction on firearms-registration data collection built into the 2010 law:

The reason Reid inserted this clause, CNN reports without ever having actually talked to Reid (he declined comment), was to make the NRA “benign” in the ObamaCare fight — and to push back against “conspiracy theorists” who claimed that the bill would allow Barack Obama to start grabbing guns. Hey, that would never happen, right? Sure.

In any case, this isn’t that much of a bar on Congressional action. What can be done in this manner can be undone in the same manner. I’d keep an eye on any thousand-page bill rushed to the floor in this session to see if Reid reverses course.

  • It should add to ban any registry and any type of weapon.

  • I guess I will move to Wyoming... Stand firm!
