Occupy NOLA is short for occupy New Orleans Louisiana.This is part of the occupy Wall st bunch.
New Orleans officials have warned the occupiers for several days that do to a city ordeance that prevents overnight camping in parks,they would have to pick up there tents and leave.The occupiers ignored the warnings and stayed where the have been incamped for 62 days.
At 4:30am police moved in and removed the occupiers as well as their tent city.The removel was peaceful with only one arrest.
Just after noon,a federal judge overruled the city and said the occupiers could return to the park
accross from city hall.
Why should local municipalities bother to pass laws when the feds ignore them annyway.Federal
Judges are to powerful and are a danger to the country.
