Sarah Palin Storms DC, Riot Police Show Up

By JAVIER MANJARRES

Sunday’s rally at the WWII memorial in Washington, D.C., which was headlined by former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, has broken out in utter chaos, as both D.C. Metro and Park police attempted to shut down the event.

According to one of the Shark Tank’s correspondent on the ground, ‘Special K,’  two police cruiser blocked entrance into WWII memorial, in an effort to stop truckers from arriving from the highway.

Four marked Secret Service vehicles had arrived on the scene, joining dozens of law enforcement assets, who had already arrived, including a SWAT team dressing in full riot gear. Prior to SWAT arriving, the crowd was chanting “move those cars, move those cars,” which was possibly the reason why riot control was called in. Police blocked the road leading up to the WWII memorial from both directions, and had also detained, questioned, and subsequently released, a man dressed in full Muslim dress. Sarah Palin, along with a few hundred of her closest friends, including Senators Ted Cruz and Mike lee,  headed over to the Lincoln memorial, and  busted down Obama’s barricades.

Riot Police Strip Away American Flag From Protester

By JAVIER MANJARRES Sunday’s eventful rallies at the WWII, Vietnam Veterans, and Lincoln memorials, not to mention the one that took place in front of the White House, have left a very bad taste in the mouths of Americans, as the Obama Administration deployed riot police to push back the protesters who gathered outside the White House fence.

In the picture above, police are seen stripping the American flag from the one of the protesters outside the White House. Rep. Kerry Bentivolo (R-MI) flexed his congressional muscles, instructing police to let people into the the Lincoln memorial.

CNN Mocks Million Vet March as "Tea Party Crazies"

CNN.com covered Sunday’s “Million Vet March” in Washington D.C. against the Obama administration’s closure of military memorials by castigating the marchers as Tea Party kooks and fringe crazies. “At tea party-like rally, Obama told to ‘put the Quran down,’”the headline read.

The walk over to the Lincoln Memorial...

The ENTIRE Mall was opened and being used whether the govt liked it or not.
I'm not good at estimating crowd size, and it wassmaller than I had hoped, but I'm guessing there were a minimum of 5,000 spread across the entire Mall.

"Demonstrators removed the barricades Sunday at the rally, tossing them into a pile nearby. After the speeches, the crowd wandered down to the nearby
Lincoln Memorial and removed its barriers as well.  When some officers tried to put them back up, protesters took them from the officers’ hands and carried them away from the memorial."

So the rally continued on, unimpeded, at the Lincoln Memorial...

Then the fellow in the Revolutionary War garb, who is an iconic figure at every rally that I've ever been to in D.C., called for everyone to take the protest to the
White House. A cheer rose up and off they went...

Veterans Descend on Washington –

to White House

Veterans descended upon Washington DC Sunday

morning to visit the open air WWII memorial and the

Iwo Jima memorial. Thousands of individuals were

on hand to support these veterans to visit the

memorial in spite of Park Rangers attempting to

thwart visitors the day prior. Ordinary citizens picked

up barricades around the WWII memorial and piled

them in stacks on the grassy areas of the park.
