STOP THE INSANE DA/DT REPEAL

Subject: Petition for USMC Cmdt Gen. James Amos « Victory Institute

Please sign this petition for General Amos, who stated allowing the distraction of homosexuals in the ranks will get Americans killed. Petition will be delivered to Obama next week.  The Democrat Harry Reid will attempt to bring up  repeal of the 1993 law(incorrectly call DADT) up for a vote on Sat 18 Dec 2010. This is a stand-alone bill and their third attempt to push this through to hurt our military.  Reid claims he has 60 votes.  Senator Ron Wyden(D-Oregon) is going in the hospital, so Reid is one vote down.  There may be Republican sell-out votes--Murkowski(202-224-6665/fax 202-224-5301),  Brown(202-224-4543/fax 202-224-2417), Voinovich(202-224-3353/fax 202-2281382).  Also, Senator Jim Webb(D-VA), who has been blooded in combat and knows these people should not donate blood. Everybody in our military should be able to donate blood. If a soldier is wounded or killed in combat, their blood gets on all that touch his/her body.  Webb, who may change his support, is at 202-224-4024/fax 202-228-6363.  A fax may be better than a recorded call.  Please mention severe downsides of health(physical and mental-ie; the traitor PFC Bradley Manning), cost, hygiene, safety of military children, and morale. Please be polite in your messages. The Senate will be in session late at night and all weekend, so their offices will be open. This is important to the lives of our soldiers and the welfare of their families.

  • I spent almost 30 years in the military, USMC and US ARMY, this would be a total disaster to the defence of our nation.

    •

Yep!  look what happened to   Custers men at his last stand. Story was he was into Gonad juice..Not good.

  • What PISSES me OFF and dont get me wrong I LOVED the Military when I served and still respect all who serve now but what gets me and PLEASE help to me to understand what I am missing here, WHEN LT. COL. LAKIN was needing help where was the GEN. then to stand with a BROTHER IN ARMS?

    • I signed.

    • He was protecting his own anatomy and position, of course.

  • I pray somehow we can take some of these people to court for treason, i would start with the president.

  • General Amos is absolutely correct in his assessment of the damage repealing don't ask/don't tell will cause to America's armed forces!!  The present administration and the Democratic Party are attacking the principals that our founder put into place at every turn!!  They are determined to destroy America, and her Constitution!!  We must attack these efforts on every front! for as long as it takes, to purge this cancer from our nation's leadership positions!!  Pray for America!  Doc Greenough

  • No one in the military needs to be behaving in an overtly sexual manner; male, female or other!  That's disruptive to the mission of the military.  If the homosexuals are unwilling to comply with that restriction, then they simply need to go elsewhere to seek employment in the service of the nation; there are other ways to serve!  The military mission requires certain standards be met in ALL areas of being, and that's merely one of them.  Without those standards our troops can't do the job for which they're needed by the nation.  To force this on them is wrong on SO many levels!

  • Signed. Our soldiers do not need or deserve yet another distraction or discomfort while they engage the enemy. It is an outrage to consider this as they fight for our freedoms.
  • I wonder if there will be a single Flag/General officer resignation in protest over this despicable legislation?  There should be a mass message from Private to General sent to Congress........."we won't be part of the abomination".
