Breakdown of the Open carry rally today
For being an impromptu rally there was a good turn out, around 60-70 people. Infowars had about 6 cameras & crew there. At least 1 local station KVUE (which I was able to speak to, only off camera, and was informed that , there was NO way her bosses were going to let her mention OAS on the air),also covered the event, as well as a couple of smaller stations like KUT (which I was able to do an interview with, when the rally was over). I was able to distribute quite a bit of material, got my OAS shirt on camera both for the live feed by C.A.T.I. Austin (come and take it), many, many times, and on the infowars live feed, which I haven't seen yet, met some Great people, and picked up some new members, some of whom will be attending the Patriots Rally 4 Freedom on Saturday, and some that will march in this Saturdays Open carry Rally in Austin.
We had many people that just fell in line & marched with us today, including 1 topless lady (i use that term lightly),who left us all with a mantra that will not leave us for a long time (more boobs, less guns), but she drew a lot of attention to us, from people who were ignoring the guns, so it wasn't all bad. We had more support from the crowd, including many young people, than we had detractors. I met an individual that calls himself Capt. America, and if you listen to Inforwars, or some of the other Patriotic radio shows, you might have heard of him, because apparently, he calls in a lot. He plans to go to the Open carry rally on Saturday, and will be distributing our info, and wearing 1 of our Tee shirts, and meeting with Alex jones to try to get us an interview, and He will be in DC in May. He was spreading the word about OAS to everyone that would listen, and had a promise from inforwars for an interview with him, and me, sometime during the march, which never materialized. So at the end of the march, I got fed up, and went up to Jacary Jones (I think that's his name), and ask him why are they afraid of OAS, after dodging the question with a bunch of drival, he ended up taking our card, with my name, number & email address, and said he would have someone contact me, to get info for who he could interview. I won't be holding my breath.
We have 3 events going this weekend, and could use some support from the rest of Texas. The Rally in Temple should be a fairly large one, the P.R.F.F. rally in Matindale is supposed to be very large also, and the exposure at SXSW for the Saturday Open carry Rally is HUGE.

There was also a very good march in Austin on Saturday, Mar. 15th.
100-150 attended including many from OAS/PFA.
