History is repeating itself in all its murderous glory in Russia. While the world swoons over Vladimir Putin taking charge in Syria and offing a bunch of blood-thirsty Islamists who are in his way and serve as bloody propaganda for his next moves into the Baltics, the Middle East and Europe, Putin is getting the old band back together a la the Soviet Union. He is using nationalism to stoke the hatred of America… blaming all of Russia’s ills on the US. You see this play out in Donetsk, Ukraine, where three giant portraits of the former Soviet dictator, Joseph Stalin, are proudly displayed in the center of the city. It is the rebel capitol of eastern Ukraine and separatists are fueling Soviet nostalgia there.

Putin is also using the playbook of Hitler , who asserted that ethnic Germans in Poland were being persecuted and needed protection . He even had Germans dress up like Polish soldiers and recorded them abusing so called Germans living in Poland. That was the precursor to his invasion of Poland ! The start of WWII began with that German propaganda . Sound familiar ...in the Ukrainian Crimean peninsula and Eastern Ukraine , Putin claims ethnic Russians living there are being persecuted. He then invaded Crimea and took it ....as well as part of Eastern Ukraine. Obama's reaction ...virtually nothing. He won't even help arm the Ukrainians to fight the Russians. Yet Putin has Dictator Castro , who Obama has been kissing his ass and opening relations with the US, send Cuban troops to Syria to fight moderate Syrians we spent millions training and supplying.
Thanks for the reminder of how Hitler dressed up Germans as Polish soldiers and had them attack Germans, thus gaining the support of Germans for the take over of Poland. Back in 2009, i read a book by someone who lived under Hitler called "Defeating the Totalitarian Lie" and he explained that about Hitler. Dictators learn from each other. I have a theory (just mine) that Obama studied every dictator and what they did, like Hitler, Juan Peron in Argentina, Stalin, as well as Alinsky, because he has used methods that they used in circumstances that Obama wanted to use (Peron would have guided Obama on the unions) - just my thoughts.
Putin was head of the KGB, or at least one of its intelligence agents. Putin also has taken control of the north Arctic as he has soldiers there.
