Roxanna, it is best to stock pile about 6 months of the basics. rice, beans, canned goods, salt, sugar and large water containers. Pool shock to purify water can be obtained at any swimming pool supply shop. If you have a gas grill extra propane tanks. Also as much gasoline as you can store for emergency use. A small cheap emergency generator, try Big Lots, Home Depot or Loews. You can keep yourself and your family fed and healthy on these basics. The trapper miners in Chile lived for 17 days on a couple of tablespoons of tuna and water. They all slimmed down but that's a good thing for most of us, lol. Their are lots of survival sites on the net, check some of them out. Canned tuna, veggies and soup are easy to store and don't need cooked so a balance of those and the food that needs cooked is best. Canned food can be bought at discount by the case. Hope this helps you, Luke

How to post "live" URL in posts at PFA............. Adding URLs in blog posts that are not "live" is a waste of everyone's time.....
Here's how....if anyone has better guidance send to me.....
First........type your text entry into the post block to include typing or paste the URL you want us to view........when finished with the text, highlight and copy the URL in the text.......then click the "add hyperlink" tool in the B, I, U box just above the text entry, after clicking, a window will open asking for the URL...paste the URL in the box and click "OK". You have now made the URL "live"...........it shows some code before the post is published, it goes away when you "publish post".......
