obama has already started his egomanical task. He believes he will push anything that he wants because he won. Giethner, abortion, gitmo, and he didnt attend the heroes ball. He makes me want to vomit.

Kellen Giuda, a laid-off architect, is organizing his own New York City tea party. He has invited several prominent guest speakers, including politicians, elected officials, an author, blogger, a bond trader and a former contestant on "America's Next Top Model" to speak out against excessive government spending.
Giuda is working with Alex Zablocki, top staffer for New York State Sen. Andrew Lanza, to coordinate the New York event. Some potential speakers include Kathleen Troia McFarland, deputy assistant secretary of defense for public affairs at the Pentagon from 1982 to 1985 under President Ronald Reagan; Brett Joshpe, conservative author and graduate of Harvard Law School; Sara-Racey Tabrizi, "America's Next Top Model" contestant and professional model and various elected officials.
The tea party will take place Saturday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m. in City Hall Park in Manhattan.
Late notice to be sure, but please let me know if there is even a chance you will attend.

Your name comes to me via Rochester_Veteran (see initial introductions below). A member barely 48 hours, I have been trying to understand the goals and strategies of the New York Contingent. From what I can gather it all seems pretty straightforward at this point: recruit and protest.
Speaking of which, there is supposed to be a Tea Party at City Hall tomorrow at 2pm. Are you involved with that? The info was posted in the PFA/NY group thread this morning. I will forward under separate cover. Kellen Giuda is organizing it. Is he one us? And if not, he should be. Sounds like they may have some congressional contacts.
I’m hoping you’ll share your thoughts about joining PFA, and your expectations. And of course any ideas you have! That’s what we’re all here for, right?

My Uncle taught at Franklin and is also retired from RCSD, Mary Lou. My late sister was involved in the Pro Life movement and was involved in the Rosary services outside of the old Highland Hospital (email me at rochester_veteran@yahoo.com and we'll talk, I bet you know my family!).
Ed, I started the New York Contingent but I can sure use some help in organizing. We have folks from all over the state who are a part of our contingent and it's probably best that we form up by region. Suzann is from Manhattan and is looking to meet up with folks in the NYC area. I think a good "action" for us to participate is a "Tea Party".
Keep an eye on the Free Republic discussion on the "Tea Parties" to see if one will be organized in your communities in New York:

Terry Jones to Burn Qurans on 9/11
The Rev. Terry Jones is planning to burn 2,998 Qurans on Sept. 11 in Tampa, though the exact location of the event has not been announced.
But on Jones’ Facebook page, Google Maps directs attendees to an exact location in West Tampa.
The directions are very specific. Motorists are told to exit the interstate and get onto East Floribraska Avenue. Eventually, drivers are told to “turn right onto North Ola Avenue, and then immediately turn left onto West Street.”

Muslim Terror Cell in Israel Plotted to Murder, Steal Body
The Shin Bet revealed Tuesday that in recent months it exposed a terrorist cell in the Hevron region that was planning to steal an Israeli citizen’s body, in hopes of trading the corpse for imprisoned terrorists.
The cell was affiliated with the Islamic Jihad terrorist group.
Several members were arrested. They were identified as Matez Mahmoud Taleb Abido, Bashir, Ayeed Mahmoud Zahada, Hazam Ouni Mahmoud Tawil, and Abdullah Mahmoud Ata Abido.
Hazam Tawil and Abdullah Abido have served previous prison terms for terror-related crimes.

Seven Muslims in Myanmar Receive Extensive Sentencing for Role in Riots
Seven Muslims have been jailed for their role in religious clashes in the Burmese town of Meiktila in March.
The Myanmar news site Mizzima reported that the men received terms ranging from two to 28 years.
So far no Buddhists have been convicted in connection with the deadly clashes

How to post "live" URL in posts at PFA............. Adding URLs in blog posts that are not "live" is a waste of everyone's time.....
Here's how....if anyone has better guidance send to me.....
First........type your text entry into the post block to include typing or paste the URL you want us to view........when finished with the text, highlight and copy the URL in the text.......then click the "add hyperlink" tool in the B, I, U box just above the text entry, after clicking, a window will open asking for the URL...paste the URL in the box and click "OK". You have now made the URL "live"...........it shows some code before the post is published, it goes away when you "publish post".......
