It is apparent there is sufficient evidence to suggest that the POLITICAL ISSUES OF THE DAY are more important than American lives .... and that is the end of that tune !!!!
We are in a completely different mind set than we were then ! UNFORTUNATELY ....

Sylvia, I don't think we fell asleep. In my life time I have seen the dumbing down of America for what I have determined is the strategy that has been working on us since the very beginning. Only in the last 28 years, since Clinton, has it become apparent. I use to teach my sons the difference between "want" & "need". There are many things we want in life and very few things we need. Focus on your needs and you will not only be successful but you will be happy with all you accomplish.
Most of America has focused on its wants and that is what we have gotten. Our real needs have fallen by the wayside. Check it out and everything or subject you wish to consider you will find the impetus is a want. I have often used an analogy of a building in need of repair, crumbling in fact. This building represents America. The repair efforts are our Government. All of the programs that are applied never reach the real problem. The application is never applied to the foundation, the cause of all the problems above it. Sooner or later the building is going to fall.
It is unfortunate that the military and its leadership is just like the populace, they are educated in the same system that has been co-opted by the wanting, I feel for you, mentality of our liberal/socialist population. Some are awake and focused but outnumbered, just like you & I, when it comes to voting for a better future. Because our society has changed into a want society, redifining the meaning of words, our military leaders now seem to look at Honor, Integrity, Country, Commitment no longer is as important as it was when our country was founded.
This is sad but it does not turn the ship around. The problem does reside in the most local of places, the places we all inhabit, our PTA, Church, HOA, Town/City/County/State Governments; the foundations of our country.
Lastly, as I watched this video I could not help but feel the General's pride and immediately feel the shame for what happened in Benghasi, Lybia to demean & demoralize our military by the complete lack of leadership.

Where was Obama when Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty were requsting air support!!!??????? The rescue of Roger Locher prooves the total incompetence of the Obama and his administration in reguards to the attack on the Bebghazi consulate!!
What changed, we fell asleep, thinking we could not be over run, and allowed the Communist to take over our country, schools, colleges, and slick talking politicans, to take over our government, from within! Instead of listening to McCarthy, we allowed the Communist to shut him up! We have allowed our God to be removed from our lives, & muslims to move in, and placed in our government, just like the Communist! So here we are! Who the hell, is left in this country, who has the balls to walk in, and arrest these bastards, and line them up, and stopped! No christians, no military, will draw a line in the sand, and stop these people. All we can do is bitch, and allow a bunch of criminals to continue to write laws to tie our hands, while they use our laws against us! Who among us has lifted a finger, to do anything to a man who is , as EVERYONE KNOWS, is a Law Breaker, Illegal, Foreigner, Muslim, every thing against the Constitution! You keep talking about Impeachment, HE Cannot be impeached, because he is not REAL! He must be Arrested, along with his entire administration! All laws he and Congress have passed nullified! My question is, if not now, WHEN! Just how much worse is it going to have GET! I grew up a military brat, from George Washington time till now! All the men in my Dads family were in the military, in every branch! But I am just a 70 year old woman, what do I know!
