  • "Ain't it funny how many hundreds of thousands of soldiers we can recruit with nerve. But we just can't find one politician in a million with backbone." --American humorist Will Rogers (1879-1935)

I would add to what Will Rogers said... in most cases a Liberal Democrat. Both parties must do what is good for America and the American people not what is right for their political parties, them keeping their job, and special interest groups.....we must also put term limits on ALL politicians to weed out power and corruption.

Stop funding the UN and all the countries that don't support America anyway. All we are doing is making these leaders in these countries rich and nothing goes to help the people. I would think this would help bring down our deficit. The UN (United Nothing as I call it) is nothing but a bunch of gangsters and leaches it is time for them to leave. What a joke! and we give the billions each year.

  • Obama should be held to task for the high unemployment we have today. We have had 4 years of an inept, tone deaf Congress controlled by the Democrats, and the result is as plain as the nose on my face. If the patient is ill because a prior doctor was negligent, and a new doctor prescribes a remedy that will kill the patient, should we hold the new doctor blameless because the old doctor made the patient ill? Obama tried to sell the same old product last night, wrapped up in a "new" package. He is incapable of sincere, logical thought. He is a puppet, an empty suit. I thought I was hearing things when Obama said with a straight face, that he would not sign any bill with earmarks. Michele Bachmann did a good job reminding us how important the Tea Party was in influencing this last election, and how it's impact could keep influencing government policy as we move forward. I didn't expect much from Bachmann in this response, because in reality she is only one mouthpiece for the Tea Party. Ryan had proposed a more extensive plan that would cut Medicaid and other programs, but his plan fell flat with a Congress that refuses to consider real, hard cuts that would effect entitlement programs that most Representatives won't touch out of fear for their political lives. I liked Ryan's response because he talked to Americans like we were adults, and although Ryan is an "establishment" Republican, we have to work with what we have until 2012. We need to get rid of the Dept. of Education, the FED, the FDA, the FCC, the Dept. of HHS, and quit funding PBS, just for starters. We have gained the House, but it will take much, much more to reverse and replace Obama's obscene legislation in time to prevent the loss of our Republic as we know it. America has been rotting from the inside for decades. Will the American people sacrifice for the future of our Republic? We all want freedom, limited government, and a fiscally sound government, but nobody wants their entitlements to be touched. It seems like very few are willing to do what it takes on their part to restore America back to the Republic that the framers of our constitution envisioned. We critique the speeches our politicians give incessantly, while we keep a lazy eye on what they actually do. Don't tell me, SHOW me.
  • "We The People" Are On The Move And We Need More Of Us To Join And Take Back America!
  • Good content as always, but not up to par in presentation.

The  speech is right on track for Tea Party folks, but I guess I was hoping for something of more universal appeal.

We're not going to win this preaching to the choir.

  • I like that Michelle is really the one speaking for us.  Ryan did a good job too, but we need to see the new House in action first.

  • obommi the commi makes me puke.
  •

This was not perfect but very good. betting the Rats and the GOP are thinking about what is coming from this area of operation. Funny Obongo talked about spending and spending on infrastructure .ie UNION JOBS. PART I MISSED IS WHERE IS the money coming from for all the specialized jobs. Unions eat up a lot of money per person per hour. wait a second. may be he did not mean what he said or was being his usual liar.He is on a sinking ship there is no way he can do this in time to get er done. Idiot . Makes me wanna puke.

Michelle I do beleive stirred some thoughts and reminders to both parties. ie Tea Party going to be around awhile yet..

  • AWESOME!
