I received this earlier this week and because of my own experiences back in 1952 when as a 17 year old soldied serving in West Germany I went through this loneliness and so those memories came flooding back almost like it was only yesterday and so the effect that this song "WHEREVER YOU ARE" had on me was terrific. I wrote a poem about this song and it has the same name as the song and the song in document form is on its way to England.

A soldiers dream
The song “Wherever You Are” I will always remember it touched my heart
And to remember in my dreams the sweetness of our good bye kiss
To be blessed with those wonderful memories my beautiful love my heart
My beautiful love my heart to again feel your closeness I truly miss
O my love my darling my heart is beating in a wild rhythm at the thought
Of a wonderful romance and marriage that was more then a dream
That choir sung so beautifully and in my dreams it is you my love I sought
To an ever lasting hope and to our forever wonderful lasting dream
Those words “Wherever you are my heart will keep you safe” belong to me
Those words are echoing in my heart with my every moment in time
In my dreams my love my heart you’re beautiful image is beckoning to me
I cannot escape this haunting song until I see you to make you mine
In my dreams at your side and I can hardly wait until I again take my place
Even though we are far apart our hearts my love will beat as one
Echoing words “your heart will build a bridge of light over time and space”
Soon together again our love will be kindled for our lives final run
