Apparently this family was evicted from their property by the IRS, with the assistance of two sherriff's deputies. There was an order from a judge, but the case was being appealed. She argues that because of this, they were NOT given full due process, and should not have been evicted.The sherriff asserted that the existence of this court document compels him to enforce the order. It appears that this sherriff sees enforcing the orders of the federal government as his first priority, and protecting the rights of his county's citizens is second.She argues that in such a situation, his first duty is to investigate whether or not the order is proper and legal. She said that they had obeyed IRS regulations and had filed whatever they were supposed to file, and that the county had copies of all the documents to support this. She says that he should have stopped the eviction until everything could be confirmed.What I find the most hypocritical here is the sherriff's claim that the deputies were sent for the purpose of protecting the property owner's rights. The family is astonished at this, and calls it an ourtright lie. There is no question in their mind that the deputies were there for the express purpose of providing coercive force for the eviction. The sherriff later makes this abundantly clear by stating that they would have called him, he would have glanced at the judge's signature, and would have proceeded with the eviction.What do you folks think? There's a lot of stuff here, and it starts a little slow. She gets heated up a little further in and let's the guy have it.
