I find it interesting watching this case. We know the Judicial System is totally corrupt so what is the purpose for them to look at this again? Is it to trick us and make us think the system is not totally corrupt....throw us a bone to cause us to be unable to think with clarity or act with intelligence or understanding?

In the wake of a recent federal court ruling that casts doubt on the accuracy of sworn testimony provided by Justice Department officials regarding the decision to abandon its voter intimidation lawsuit against the New Black Panther Party for Self Defense (NBPP), Examiner's Joe Newby reported on Wednesday that a disturbing video reveals alleged Panther leader Samir Shabazz saying "that blacks will have to kill white babies seconds after they’re born, while suggesting [the] bombing of nurseries."

A Washington, D.C.-based watchdog group is questioning the testimony of Attorney General Eric Holder regarding the Black Panther intimidation case and the group, Judicial Watch, insists that the case must be investigated by a special prosecutor.

The Justice Department had filed its original lawsuit against the NBPP following the now well documented incident that took place outside of a Philadelphia polling station on Nov. 4, 2008. According to multiple witnesses, members of the NBPP blocked access to polling stations, harassed voters and hurled racial epithets, according to officials at Judicial Watch.

After filing a lawsuit against the two Philadelphia Panthers, the Party, and the Party's chairman in January 2009 alleging violation of the federal law prohibiting voter intimidation, the Justice Department reversed course in May 2009, unilaterally dismissing the case against three of the defendants and greatly reducing the relief originally sought against the defendant who carried a club.

The DOJ ultimately overruled the recommendations of its own staff and dismissed the majority of its charges. Current and former DOJ attorneys have alleged in sworn testimony before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights that the DOJ’s NBPP decision, as well as other civil rights-related decisions, are made on the basis of race and political affiliation.

For example, in the course of looking into why the Justice Department chose to dismiss most of the lawsuit, the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights heard testimony from two DOJ attorneys and members of the NBPP trial team, former Voting Section Chief Christopher Coates and J. Christian Adams, who under oath stated to the Commission that there was a "culture of hostility within the Department's Civil Rights Division to the race-neutral application of the nation's voting laws."

Arguably the busiest public-interest group in the nation, Judicial Watch, uncovered information that top political appointees at the Justice Department were intimately involved in the decision to dismiss the lawsuit against the New Black Panther Party.

These documents, obtained by Judicial Watch through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit, include internal DOJ e-mail correspondence that directly contradict the sworn testimony of Perez. Perez testified before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights that no political leadership was involved in the decision.

Despite the revelatory documents, the DOJ continued to insist that the documents did not make “any political interference whatsoever,” according to Judicial Watch

But the federal court judge disagreed. In a July 23 ruling by Judge Reggie B. Walton of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in response to Judicial Watch’s effort to obtain attorneys’ fees from the DOJ for stonewalling the release of documents, Judge Walton ruled:

"The documents reveal that political appointees within DOJ were conferring about the status and resolution of the New Black Panther Party case in the days preceding the DOJ’s dismissal of claims in that case, which would appear to contradict Assistant Attorney General Perez’s testimony that political leadership was not involved in that decision. Surely the public has an interest in documents that cast doubt on the accuracy of government officials’ representations regarding the possible politicization of agency decision-making."

The court’s conclusions also call into question the veracity of Attorney General Eric Holder’s testimony on the controversy. On Mar. 1, 2011, Holder testified to the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies:

"The decisions made in the New Black Panther Party case were made by career attorneys in the department. And beyond that, you know, if we’re going to look at the record, let’s look at it in its totality."

The court received documents that included a series of e-mails between two political appointees: former Democratic election lawyer and current Deputy Associate Attorney General Sam Hirsch and Associate Attorney General Thomas Perrelli. Both DOJ officials were involved in detailed discussions regarding the NBPP decision, according to Judicial Watch's press statement.

“It is becoming increasingly clear that the leadership of the Justice Department, including Attorney General Holder, has a problem with truth. There needs to be an independent investigation into whether Holder and Assistant Attorney General Thomas Perez committed perjury in testifying under oath about the Black Panther controversy. We are pleased that a court has already seen through the false narrative presented to it by the Justice Department. We can’t have our nation’s top law enforcement officers playing fast and loose with the truth,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

"This Judicial Watch report [should be] on the front page of every newspaper and the lead story on every TV and radio newscast," former police detective and military intelligence officer Mike Snopes told the Law Enforcement Examiner.

"This report reveals that the U.S. Justice Department under [Attorney General] Holder is out of control harassing state legislatures and law enforcement officials while turning a blind eye towards voter intimidation. They are playing race politics of the worse kind -- institutionalized racism," ...

  • The U.S. government can not be trusted.

  • So in essence, white people have no rights.  I've had it....enough is enough!!

The so called "Civil Rights Act" should really be called the "Communist/subversive  Act".

    American whites have given enough.

We have an evil ungodly enemy within our government.

  •  THIS NATION-OF LAWS HAS TRUELY BECOME A DANGERIOUS PLACE UNDER THIS ADMINISTRATION. THE RULE-OF-LAW HAS BECOME A LIE, A CRUEL JOKE ON THE LAW ABIDING CITIZENS. NO HONEST, LAW ABIDING CITIZEN  CAN BE SURE THEY WILL RECEIVE JUSTICE IN THE COURTS. THE COURTS, LIKE THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT, ARE CORRUPT AND APPLY THE LAW WHEN, AND AS, THEY THINK IT SHOULD BE, NOT ACCORDING TO THE WAY IT IS WRITTEN AND WHEN IT IS BROKEN. THIS PRESIDENT AND HIS ATTORNEY GENERAL DISREGUARD THE LAW OR OBEY THE LAW WHEN AND AS THEY PLEASE. THEY CONSIDER THEMSELVES ABOVE THE LAW AND EVEN SOME JUDGES SEAM TO BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE, BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT RULE AGAINST THEM, EVEN WHEN THE EVIDENCE WOULD CONVINCE ANY OBJECTIVE AND OPEN MINDED PERSON. WE HAVE A BUDDING TYRANT IN THE WHITE HOUSE. HE MUST BE REMOVED FROM OFFICE AND TRIED FOR THE CRIMES HE HAS COMMITTED AGAINST THIS NATION AND AGAINST WE THE PEOPLE.                                                                                                                                                                   ALL THE ANSWERS TO RESOLVE THIS CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS ARE IN THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE.

IF YOU WANT THE ANSWERS, READ THE DECLARATION. THE FIRST COUPLE OF PAGES TELLS ALL THE ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN.

    • When an "administration" completely ignores our founding legal document, the Constitution and circumvents Congress and our whole legislative branch what else can happen but the abdication of the "rule of law?"

  • They will be made use of just like the Union staffed "Occupiers" I suspect and see from the tea leaves that Obama will declare Martial law on the pretence of some violent actions on the part of these groups and others to suspend the elections and force new executive orders over us all.

  • It is about time for Eric Holder to eat some crow!!!!!  I hope he is tarred and feathered and ran out of town on a rail!!!  Then the powers that be might consider trying him for treason, obstruction of justice, and perjury!!!

  • There is no reason that this is not a slam dunk. It is obvious, even to the most casual observer, that the dismissal of the case against the NBPP was wrong and politically motivated. The ones behind it, Holder for one, should be jailed post haste. We shall see if this judge is truly attempting to uphold the law or just blowing smoke. The question I have is since he has determined that the documents clearly show there WAS political motivation involved why have there not been grand jury hearings at least scheduled?

    • Put up your smoke shields, Johnny.....we're in for some serious pollution!

  • This particular incident has been symbolic of Holder's racist position supported by Obama. These ARE Chicago values folks. Obama and Co. make Capone look like a boyscout. I agree totally with Lois. America has had enough of this Banana Republic style of governance. It MUST BE STOPPED!!

  • The following are a few things that Holder and his ilk would do well to remember:

    1.  From a population of 600,000 slaves blacks in America have grown to a community of 40 million and they enjoy the greatest freedom and are better off than any other black population in the world.

    2.  No other nation of whites has done more to care for blacks than white Americans.  The US government (white Americans) have spent untold billions,if not trillions, of dollars to provide benefits for blacks. Public housing, education grants, student loans, medicaid, food stamps, the list goes on ad nauseam.  And, still they want more.

    3.  When was the last time you heard of college recruiters handing out scholarships to needy white high school graduates?

    4.  Black on white rapes are 100 times greater than white on black rapes.

    5.  Black on white robberies are 139 times greater than white on black robberies.

    6.  Blacks have allowed the likes of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton to become the spokesmen for the black community.  Were either one of these men white they would have been in prison years ago.

    7.  Check the statistics for any American city where the majority of the population is black and you will find that crime is out of control.  For example:  Philadelphia which now has a majority black population is now referred to as Killadelphia.  Nicknames such as that don't come about without reason.

    8.  You want to talk about racism, lets talk about Jeremiah Wright, the congressional black caucus, Sharpton, Jackson, and perhaps worst of all is that contemptible professor, that's so often on O'Reilly, Marc LaMont Hill.

I for one, as a white citizen, am fed up, up to my eyeballs, with whites being blamed for every problem that blacks have.  If they want to know the source of their problems all they have to do is look in a mirror.  I understand that now obozo and his crowd want to hold the folks living in the suburbs responsible for decreased revenue in the cities.  I read several European online newspapers every day and recently there have been a number of photo essays on the decay of American cities.  Detroit and St. Louis being two that come immediately to mind.  Anyone want to take a guess as to who runs those two cities?  In Detroit there are literally hundreds of acres which have been abandoned.  St. Louis's population has fallen from about one million to somewhere around 300,000.  Any guesses as to who most of the people were that moved out?  Remember last year's Wisconsin state fair?  Gangs of black youths attacking white fair goers.  When's the last time you heard of gangs of white youths attacking blacks?  Any guesses why?  Until whites tell the media and the politicians to go to hell this double standard will continue to exist and the Holders and obozos of the world will continue to crap on whites.
