Federal appeals court panel rules California same-sex marriage ban unconstitutional
A federal appeals panel in San Francisco ruled Tuesday that California’s ban on same-sex marriage violates the constitutional right to equal protection.
The panel overturned Proposition 8, which was approved by 52 percent of the state’s voters in 2008 and amended the state’s constitution to limit marriage to a man and a woman. The U.S. Supreme Court could be the next stop for the measure.

three men in drag(black robes) from California(the land of fruits and nuts) say 52% of California acted unconstitutionally when they voted in favor of Prop 8? IMO these Judges have violated the Judicial code with their appearance of impropriety.They have misrepresented "marriage" under American law--and dam-- No copy I have of the US Constitution says anything about "marriage" being a fundamental right/In Murphy v. Ramsey and others the Court said legislation that was based upon the definition of family as consisting of and springing from family -being the union for life of a man and a woman in holy matrimony is the most wholesome legislation. But I am not aware of any court prior to that one that redefined marriage as a union that can receive benefits including property ,and Govt. Benefits-- I can't recall any Court that said marriage ought be defined as a fundamental right--and decided by Federal Court.If the Court defines Marriage then we have NO need to maintain State Offices--nor Church records.We can save a boatload if we just take EVERY question to the Oracles in black robes--oh and if we pass our children through the fires of Molech--or give them to Baal-zebub I feel certain the gods of the American Courts or perhaps the Mayan Calendar may smile upon the new world order.
What do you expect from most activist liberal federal appeal court. They are for homosexual marriage. We need to check to see any of the two judges who voided Proposition 8 is a homosexual. This country is going more and more immoral every day thanks to the liberal, progressive, communist, marxist, homosexual and islamic minority.
Well, if marriage is defined as a "fundamental right" by SCOTUS, it is obvious that those who are otherwise unmarriageable, for whatever reason, if they express a desire to be married, will be given a "mate" at taxpayers' expense.
How many times can we give "the finger" to God before we reap the fruits of our disobedience and perversions? It surely won't be much longer. It is interesting to note that in California, the land of fruits, nuts, and flakes, the majority of voters -- who vote overwhelmingly for left-wing, moonbat stuff -- voted for the commonsense idea that "marriage" is the union of a man and a woman. It's not the citizenry so much as certain radical elements which we have allowed to wield power in our society. When God's judgment comes, all will suffer...but those who led the attacks upon America and God will pay the heaviest price.
We have a-lot of judges in this country that needs to be recalled.
