Guns in America:

Guns in America:

How many guns are there in America? In 2015 the Washington Post estimated that number to be around 357 million. At the same time they also estimated the population in America to be about 317 million. That means there are more guns in America than there are citizen's.

If guns in America were the real problem then half of the country would be dead by now.

The REAL gun problem in America is NOT the guns, or even the people who have them, NO – the real problem with guns in America is the people who want to take them, the people that want to disarm every person in America. Those Anti-Second Amendment gun-confiscation advocates. All we have to do is to look at history, we don't even have to look at world history, just look at the history right here in America and we can see what happens when these gun-control advocates get control.

Our own American revolution in 1775-1776 was not really about taxes or some tea-party. What started the American revolution was when the British attempted to confiscate the weapons and ammunition that the colonialists had stored in Lexington. Then take a look at Ruby Ridge and Randy Weaver. Once again that was about the guns and a rouge FBI that was hell-bent on prosecuting a guy that they themselves had lied about and set up a trap to get him because they claimed he sold a shotgun that was ½ inch too short. They killed his Son and his wife (and the dog) just so they could “Make and example” out of him. They wanted to make sure the American people knew who was in charge, who was the BOSS.

Then look at David Koresh and the Branch Davidians in Waco Texas. Believing that the group was illegally stockpiling weapons, the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) obtained both an arrest warrant for Koresh and a search warrant for the compound. On February 28, 1993, more than 70 ATF agents raided the complex. Gunfire erupted—though it is uncertain who fired first—and during the two-hour battle, four federal agents were killed and more than a dozen injured. In addition, six Davidians reportedly died. In the end the Federal Government killed more than 80 people including women and children in what we now know as the Waco Massacre.

Once again it's not about the guns or the people that own them. It's all about the people that want to take them, the people who want to confiscate every civilian gun in America. There are literally thousands of cases like this, these are only a very few.

If we did look at world history we would find thousands more examples of what happens to entire populations of people once their Government leaders manage to confiscate the people's weapons. It's never been a pretty picture and it always ends the same, the mass execution of more than half the countries population and then total oppression, slavery, and starvation of those who managed to last that long. Despotism, murder, and brutality know no bounds.

Thankfully America's Founding Fathers knew all about world history, they knew first hand about oppression and despotism of ruthless rulers and the Armies they command and deploy. America's Founding Fathers took great care to try to guarantee that those same kinds of things would never happen here in America. That is why they included the Second Amendment as one of the most significant amendments to their new Constitution. After the right to free speech, the right to a free press and the right to assemble, the Founders considered the right of the people to bear arms as the most important rights of a free people. They took great pains in writing that Second Amendment and even went so far as to guarantee that the Government could not erase or abolish those rights.

Amendment II

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Those words “Shall not be infringed” mean precisely what it sounds like and what they say. No Government, either Federal, State, or local should ever have the right or authority to restrict or confiscate the peoples weapons and guns. The Government shall never have the right to restrict the rights of the people to defend themselves from the abuse and despotism of a tyrannical Government or from any Government official or agency. The underlaying meaning to this that the rights of the people to defend themselves against Government tyranny and oppression shall never be restricted or infringed upon, and neither shall the rights of the people to defend themselves against an attack or oppression by others outside of the Government such as the Anti-gun groups.

Gun control is not about the guns or the people who have them, it's about the people and the Governments that want to ban and confiscate them for they shall surely deprive the people of all life, liberty, justice, and freedom.
