A Bleak Picture in 2012
Friends,
There are more than one million service members serving our nation with unwavering dedication, honor and sacrifice. Without immediate action, these brave heroes will have their voices silenced on Election Day.
Our new report shows that Election Day 2012 could be an all-time historic low for military voter participation. While military voters have long suffered from low participation rates, the data provided by several states show a siginficant decrease in military absentee ballot requests as compared to 2008.

With only a month until ballots are mailed to the troops, we must act now to make sure that our troops are election ready. Please share HeroesVote.org with your friends and family in the military. In a few simple steps, they can complete their absentee ballot application in time for the election.
Together, we can help protect the voice of those who sacrifice so much in the defense of the very foundation of our republic.
Sincerely,
Eric Eversole

I am ashamed of this country, taking care of our veterans should be our number one priority.
Military need to send home with a written request for an absentee ballot inside an envelope addressed to the town/city clerk. They should send that inside and envelope addressed to their kin in that town or city they are registered in. They should include enough cash to pay for the absentee ballot to be FED EX'd. m And then Fed Ex it back signature required.
