That is a question being presented to the Texas legislature by one Texas Congressman.
A Texas state representative plans to file legislation he hopes leads to secession from the United States.
Rep. Kyle Biedermann, R-Fredericksburg, said he will take action to secure a referendum on giving Texans the right to choose between remaining a state or becoming an independent nation.
Biedermann wrote in a statement posted on Facebook this week:
"The federal government is out of control and does not represent the values of Texans. That is why I am committing to file legislation this session that will allow a referendum to give Texans a vote for the State of Texas to reassert its status as an independent nation."
Biedermann said his bill will focus on Article 1 Section 2 of the Texas Constitution,
My answer to this question is YES, IF the United states installs and inaugurates EX-Vice President Joe Biden as President.
My further thoughts on this is that other southern States would likely follow and join the Republic of Texas, States such as Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.
Other States such as Missouri and Kansas might also follow. Together these States would comprise nearly half of the same territory that seceded during the first civil war.
Texas has all the necessary resources it requires to survive as a free and independant Republic. And we should also keep all of the Military installations located in Texas.
All of this is of course precisely what the Communists want, and have planned for years ago, the destruction of the United states of America.
But the People and the Republic of Texas will never stand for a President and a Congress, and a Federal Government, that sides with Communist China.
We will NOT be ruled and Governed by China or the United Nations.
