We already have most of the health care billhttp://www.newswithviews.com/Devvy/kidd462.htmThe author gives the links to the parts of the already passed stimulous bill that has laid the foundation and named the "Federal Council" which includes Ezekiel J. Emanuel, and is already in place! The author discloses that what we protest now is Part II of the plan not THE plan. Please, please check this out, get familiar, talk it up at the town halls. It appears we are not only seeking to prevent unconstitutional health care but now to get what HAS ALREADY BEEN PASSED, repealed.Another major part has been passed as an amendment to Medicare. The middle and poor class are going to get hard with taxes and, yes, that "death" panel is already set up! It goes into effect January, 2010,We CAN NOT drop this ball!Yes, ir has and I have been yelling about it for month! Quite a few things have passed. They are being passed as amendments to old bills and as House appropriations. Cap and Trade is just about done. The House is so busy transferring funds out of one department into another that you cannot keep up. Some don't even have to go to the Senate or be signed by the President. The health bill went through as an amendment to Medicare and the middle class and poor class are going to get hit with a 5% VAT to pay for it! The bill is long but is are a few highlights!http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h15/showH.R.15 - National Health Insurance ActSEC. 102. Mollie, your post is appreciated for the gem you included, the link to Open Congress. I recommend all members of PFA register so they can track the Bills that affect their lives and track their representative in congress. You will find that HR 15 has only been indroduced and referred to the Ways & Means Committee. It is an extremely dangerous Bill and if & when it rears its ugly head everyone needs to jump on it as much if not more than HR2300.
Thanks, I discovered that after I found that they were removing bills off Congress.org. It gets complicated for me some times but I just keep stumbling around on it and eventually figure out something. Someone said that HR 15 was an appropriation bill and did not need to go to the Senate nor be signed by the President. I have not been able to confirm that. I do know that some appropriation bills work that way but am not sure about this one and just could not tell from reading it if it would have to move on to the Senate or just out of committee.
HR 15 has only been introduced. Never voted on. Interesting though, It was written by Dingall of Michigan. Guess who wrote HR 3200? Yep, you guessed it, Dingall. I think HR 15 is incorporated in HR3200. I haven't had the time to read both let alone compare them. The great part of the opencongress site is that you can send messages specifically targeted to the bill and those who support it or oppose it. Stay informed this movement depends on it.
I have a question and I don't know who to ask it of. Who writes these Bills? Our braindead representatives who think they are above menial tasks like ferreting out details worthy of their words can not and do not write 1000+ pages. So, that leaves another question; How many staffers does it take to write this CRAP at who's direction or supervision and Who's budget does their pay come from? Could this be an identifiable cost of government that could save billions annually? Sorry the question lead to many more.

Good point! My guess, some lobbyist who are planning to get big bucks out of it when and if it passes. I need to go back and check. I thought it said it had passed the house. I wrote that up quite a while ago. It was done on January 6! I had posted it other places and no one seem to care. I discovered it last month.
You gave me another thought. If the lobbiests write anything for inclusion to a bill, is it legal? And is it not a form of pay off for expected benefits? Hell of as plot. Could information like this not be used to file lawsuits under the Rico Act against both the lobbiest and congressperson?
The bill has been referred to the following committees:
House Energy and Commerce
House Ways and Means
It has been referred to these two committees. You can find out exactly who is on each committee. Waxman is on one of them. Groan. PLUS You can register free and then track a bill! They will email you when there is any action on it! So, I registered and had it tracked!
