The Silence of the Pulpits

Our enemies are not stupid. The Marxists first went after the churches to neuter them and the Islamists learned how to do that back during The Decline of Eastern Christianity Under Islam.

#27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a "religious crutch."

The Silence of the Pulpits

If you are even slightly awake about the world news today, it is no surprise that Christians are being killed, raped and brutalized throughout the Islamic world. However, there is a place where you can go and escape the dreadful and relentless details of Christian annihilation by Islam. You can just go to church. For example, this week in Nigeria Christians were killed. Nothing out of the ordinary, indeed in the world of Christian persecution, this is routine.

And so the response to the murder of Christians is found in nearly every church is …wait for it…, complete silence—not a mention or reference to it or the brutality against Christians that happens almost every day in the Islamic world. This is not a passive silence, because if you try to change it, you will fail. The silence is an active, working conspiracy that goes throughout nearly all of Christendom.

Take a simple example: prayer for the persecuted. From a Christian perspective, this falls under the heading of obvious. Try taking the idea of prayer for the routinely murdered Christians in Nigeria or Egypt to ministers, boards and any part of the structure of the church and see how far you will get. You will get rejection with a myriad of lame and evasive excuses, since they fear to recognize the suffering of Christians around the world. If you acknowledge the suffering, you might ask the question: why are these Christians suffering? Ah, there is the rub. The suffering is caused by Muslim jihadists who are following the Islamic doctrine of jihad against the Christian as found in Koran, Sira and Hadith. Islam is the cause of suffering of Christians, as well as Jews, Hindus, Buddhists and atheists.

STOP!!! We cannot say those things! Facts are the new hate speech, so we cannot speak about the jihad against Christians. Therefore, we get no prayers for the persecuted, because it would lead to talk about why the murder of Christians keeps happening. And that truth would lead to being called an Islamophobe, so we are not going there. Result: silence.

It is ironic that the Wall Street Journal, a FINANCIAL newspaper, has run an article about the silence in the pulpit concerning the suffering of Christians. We live in a time of moral inversion when Christian leaders are chastised for their moral bankruptcy by money men. It is supposed to be the other way around.

Actually, there are few religious leaders left in America. Instead we have chief-executive-officers who manage a 501 c 3 institution that has meetings on Sunday. In too many cases, Christianity has devolved into an hour’s meeting that is supposed to make you feel good for a week.

This 501 c 3 corporate mentality is another one of the roots of the denial of the Christian suffering. If you are willing to see the doctrinal roots of the ongoing murder of Christians by Muslims, then you might have to speak about it from the pulpit and that could be seen as political speech. In spite of the fact that there has never been a 501 c 3 revoked because of political speech by a minister, the imagined loss silences ministers. Hmmm, if a minister is worried about the IRS revoking his 501 c 3 then who is the minster serving? Caesar or Christ?

Now you may not be a Christian, and so it might seem that there is nothing here for you. But in reality we all have pulpits. Are we using the suffering of Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, women, gays, and intellectuals caused by Islam as a topic of conversation with those around us? Who is is comfortable with bringing up anything negative about Islam? To tell those facts about Islam is a social crime and you will be accused of being a hater/Islamophobe. So most of us remain silent about the evils of political Islam, and we are just like the ministers—silent in our own pulpits. Christians and non-Christians share the fear of being insulted as bigots and Islamophobes.

It turns out that all of those who oppose any social evil will be hated. Think about it. It takes a massive amount of power to put into place any societal doctrine, such as multi-culturalism and political correctness. The government, universities, many churches, synagogues and the media have become enforcers of multi-culturalism and political correctness. They are very powerful and believe that their dogma rules all peoples.

They are also full throated apologists for Islam. Now it turns out that their actual knowledge about the doctrine and history of political Islam is close to zero and Muslim-brotherhood-approved, but that is no problem. The Establishment just says that those who find fault with Islam are bigots and they hate us.

The silence of the pulpits is the greatest aider and abettor of Islam in the US. No one serves and advances Islam better than the silent ministers. They have abandoned their duty of courage in the face of persecution, but the rest of the flock still looks for moral leadership from them. Islam triumphs when Christian leaders do not condemn the murderous evil of political Islam.

Even worse than the silent ministers are those who go to “interfaith dialogs” and smile while the Muslims assert religious and political dominance over them. The nice, oh so nice, Christians and Jews show up to tie, while the Muslims are there to win, and they do.

Christians need to follow the example of Jesus and willingly suffer the condemnation by the Establishment and fight against the political Islam that murders Christians. Said another way, Christians should demonstrate courage and sacrifice to support their cruelly murdered brothers and sisters.

We cannot defeat political Islam until we get Christian boots on the ground. Do the math. The pulpits must become a source of courage and knowledge and stand up for Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists and all others who suffer under Islam’s persecution today and for the last 1400 years.

It isn’t just about religion; it is about the survival of our civilization.

  • It isn't about religion it is about survival - yet I have heard more bashing of Romney's religion since this race started. In the name of religion none has created more conflict than differing religions. Then there is the desire for power and money., And these two issues are what Americans are battling at this time.

Every person has the right to chose the religion of there choice. And it is up to us the citizens to put a stop to the greedy parasites that occupy the halls of government. It is up to us to put a stop to the One world Order which is behind all of this.

  • I was never much of a church going  citizen. Was a time I envied people who grew up going to church on a regular basis. They had something I did not have growing up. The US Army trained us to oppose the Soviet  Communist  in part by training us to consider  the Founding documents and  what those who gave us those documents  had written themselves. Long after I separated in Jan.1977 I remember the Vernona Papers?  being  released Documents that seem to have  proven McCarthy was  Patriot -- and not the  evil person the "progressives" portrayed him to be. I seem to recall how the Soviet got along with the Muslim--as did the Nazi(German Socialists of WW II)  But neither the Soviet--nor the German Nazi were ever able to  control the Muslim-all they ever had was a working relationship. So long as the Nazi-or the Soviet allowed even helped the Muslim kill Jews and Americans they had their working relationship. Now I see the same thing  under the Communist selected to "fundamentally change" America. If Obama is not a Muslim-as he claims to be Christian  then he is  the Communist he was raised to be-and McCarthy's worst nightmare  manifest in America today.

  • I'm glad this subject came up because I am struggling with the desire to know what is going on in our government, and being a faithful "new" Christian.  My daughter-in-law and son are upset with the posts I make on FB.  They tell me things are happening according to scripture and God is in control.  They site scripture that says we are to respect our leaders.  God will hold them accountable, and our role as Christians is to spread love and the word of God.  That is our sole role.  http://www.gotquestions.org/Bible-government.html   I argue that if we don't know what is happening and why, we cannot elect leaders that will rule in a godly manner.  My arguments fall on deaf ears, and I am made to look like a bad Christian, and told that my passion and time could be better spent reading the bible and spreading the word of God.  I want to do the right thing, but at this point really struggling for the right answers.

Someone out there with more knowledge of the bible and our role as good Christians, please give me some input.

    • Debbie:  Here's some input to give a perspective your daughter-in-law and son might consider.  During the Second World War there was a saying known to everyone, including good Christians, who where fighting to keep the world free.  That saying was,"Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!"  Your daughter-in-law and son owe a debt of gratitude to the defenders of freedom who put their lives on the line to guarantee them the right to express their opinion freely.  It is a fact that without their dedication to preserving the rights of folks like your kids they wouldn't be in a position to, at their leisure, be "reading the bible and spreading the word of God."  Just my thoughts on the issue.

    • Your argument is valid and just, and no, my ears are not deaf.  Thank you for your comments. There is no silence in the pulpit of Cornerstone Chuch, San Antonio, TX from Pastor Rev John Hagee, whose mission is to see this generation won for Jesus Christ. The Bible is preached with no regard to polictical correctness. I would suggest that you call them for guidance and help in your current struggle.  I believe your family means well and is basicly sound, but I also believe you are correct.  God gives us a free will and choice to influence the future by our actions today.  God is certainly love, but he is also a rightous God who asks us to seek His guidance through prayer, and condemns sin.  It is important that we know the issues and vote responsibly and knowledgably.  When the enemies of good are out to subvert and destroy us, it is imperative that we take a stand and do what is in our power (pray and vote) to fight back.  The difference is that we do not fight back with hate; we fight back with the Word of God and through His love.  The devil will flee at the name of Jesus. No, it is not always easy.  But what in life that is worthwhile, is easy?  You may go to the web site for Cornerstone Church at www.sacornerstone.org .  You may call the prayer line at 210-491-5100.  If they are busy with other callers, leave your telephone number and they will call you back.  I believe they can help you in your search for the right answers.  My prayers will be with you, too. You may also view John Hagee Ministries (JHM) on TV at KHCE TV, Ch 23-16 3pm Sun and 8pm Tues or KCWX TV, Ch 2, 8:00am Sun. May God Bless you.

    • God is in control, however he gave man free will to do as he wants. That being the case, we all know that there are those who do not care for the bible or the Christian faith. Should we let those people coerce those of us who do into denouncing our faith and stop us from practicing it. Ask your son and daughter-in-law how they suppose that they will spread the word if it is outlawed. If they do not believe that it can happen point to the liberals that have already managed to remove it from our schools and from our public buildings all under the guise of separation of church and state, which is a myth to start with. It is fine for your son and daughter-in-law to believe whatever they choose, but it not okay for them to make you feel any less a Christian, for any reason. Thou shalt not judge...

      • "It is fine for your son and daughter-in-law to believe whatever they choose, but it's not okay for them to make you feel any less a Christian, for any reason."  Right on, Johnny!

  • The main problem with Islam, for any free thinking group of people living under a Constitution such as we're blessed to have, is that Islam is an all encompassing belief system.   It intrudes itself into the very structure of government and its main thrust is to do just that by devious means.  There is no separation of church and state in Islam, both are subservient to the Koran and the radical church hierarchy who promulgate its dictates.  You don't see any other religious groups interfering, regularlly, with normal daily life in the variety of ways Islam does when it is allowed to introduce itself into a culture which has been relatively free of Islamic proselytizing - a Country such as ours - for example.  A classic example of the distortions spread by sympathizers of that belief system is Obama's sickening assertion that Islamic influence had something to do with the Republic which has flourished, at least until recently, under the dictates of our Constitution.  That is a typical example of the lies Islamic leaning  sympathizers resort to in an effort to empower a system which won't even allow women to pray alongside of its men.  The objectionable act, in our Judeo Christian Country, of people bowing down, en masse, and disrupting the normal flow of events in the streets and other public places to demonstrate their loyalty to Islam and its dictates while ignoring the conventions of the society they are fortunate to be in, is appaling in the extreme to Citizens dedicated to the principles which this Country was founded on, but the Islamist does so in the knowledge that those principles, which our Founders considered sacred, need changing so that THEIR belief system can become dominant.   They purport to be people who subscribe to a "religion of peace" as they petition to build more and more mosques in our Country.  If you believe that try to build a Christian church in Saudi Arabia or any other Islamic "paradise".

  • Thank you Clarence, Pat and Twana for you feedback.  It has been helpful.  I'm off to work now, but plan to look at this again when I get home.  Twana, I haven't had time to watch the video, but will later tonight when I get home.  I will also check into his reading materials.

Once again, thank you all.....you honestly have relieved a lot of my guilt over faith and politics!!

    God Bless you all!!

  • I would beg to differ with the author of this piece.  It depends on what denomination of the Christian church you belong to, but more importantly who your individual pastor or priest is.  My pastor is constantly preaching about the treatment of Christians around the world. He is also not afraid to speak out about abortion and homosexuality.  I might also add that in October he is having a seminary professor come and speak to a public gathering about how a true Christian should vote.  Our pastor is also not afraid to speak out against Islam.  As a Marine veteran of the first gulf war he has seen Islam up close and he was not impressed.  He tells me that as a result of how muslim men conduct themselves during ramadan the Marines moved their unit to get away from the muslims.  While not on the same subject, but an example of how our denomination speaks out:  The head of our denomination appeared before a house committee on Obamacare and specifically told the representatives that we will not abide by the law as laid down in Obamacare nor will we abide by any rules put down by baby killer Sebelius and her sycophants. If necessary we will violate the law.  I don't see how you can get more specific than that.  However, for the most part it is up to the pastors to speak out.  I would also point out that the IRS has never, I repeat never revoked a church's 501c3 status as a result of statements made by the pastor.  We do have one or two hemorrhoids who complain about his willingness to speak out on these issues but we merely consider the source of the complaint.   If anyone wants to know what denomination I belong to send me an email.
