War in Syria - lessons to be learned

War in Syria – what it looks like on the ground. Want to know what could happen here in America? Take a look and read this article on Reuters written by actual reporters that spent some time on the ground. All you have to do is change the names of the men and the groups fighting to more familiar western style names and one can easily imagine that this is what America will look like in two years, (or less). The country has been ripped apart and several factions are all fighting for control. One of the most interesting aspects to this article lays in the way it describes how local citizens have been treated and how or why they have either aligned with or against the different factions. While the ones who claim they want democracy and freedom are accused of looting and stealing, and are thus hated and not trusted, the more radical factions of Al-Qeida have learned to respect the people and have in return gained their trust and support. Even though in the end these radicals will turn out to be the worst possible side to be on. It’s interesting to see how this country has been ripped apart from within with a little help from several outside terrorist forces, (Like Iran and the US). There are lessons to be learned here. How long would it take for America to look and sound just like this if (when) TSHTF here. We already know who the different fighting factions will be. And we already know the ones who will align themselves together to defeat any loyal patriotic groups. Our ‘Community Organizer’ in chief has done his work well. And like Syria and Egypt, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, The USA is screwed. Welcome to your new "Hope and Change" and the "Fundamental Transformation of America".
