We in this country enable bad behaviors. I've come to learn we do this because it makes us feel good to feel like we're helping someone.

1. When kids behave badly, many don't discipline children like they should because it doesn't feel good to discipline them.

2. When peoples vote for bad folks to fill gov. seats and then when they don't do their jobs, we jump right in to rush needed supplies to
a people who voted for slavery instead of freedom and self reliance. Why? It makes us feel good.

I have a friend that lives in Ca. she begs for us to let her state fail so they can then begin to fix their problems. But instead, rest of the country jumps in to bail them out every time, because it makes us feel good. The state never learns its lessons because we like to have victims - victims create a platform we use to make ourselves feel good.

When we are allowed to learn from the consequences of our mistakes and failures, we grow in wisdom, we build character, honor and integrity.

  • Twana,

    I agree.

If the truth be told most Americans have become spoiled brats.

I blame two factors:  1. Liberalism.   2. Too many jelly-fish types (spineless) in the American gene pool.
