Below, I've typed the entire story "O'Donnell meets with farm bureau members."

What was  not added in the article; My opening statements a government that is closest to the people is less likely to be intrusive into the freedoms. of the governed i.e. local county state  vs federal government and United Nations (and why we need to get out of the UN and the UN out of the US) The further away a government is from the people the more likely it is to impose totalitarian enactments. I used to own a business that was an authorized IRS Tax Preparation and Electronic filling  service.

For the article to express my thoughts with Ms. O'Donnell's statements would have been somewhat redundant, except where I added  historical commentary about understanding the importance the US farming industry having access to free trade with other countries, and how it builds good relations with other countries

The topics on the EPA; where the Constitution Party and myself believe the agency should be done away with, and this unconstitutional agency duties belong in the hands of the States not the federal government.

My families heritage; linking the farming community, (not only in Delaware but in Maryland,South Carolina, Georgia and North Carolina) to members of my family and their businesses.

The importance of being able to exercise the rights protected by Amendment X of the US Constitution and how they play a vital role in the issues related to the federal grant money and State of Delaware Motor Vehicle "Farm Vehicle" Registration and Tag issues in Delaware. Giving a historical outlook on how other states have used this in relationship to federal funding that was denied  for highway maintenance when states raised their speed limits.

The one hour meeting with Delaware farmers and myself was very educational, for both myself and the members of Delaware Farm Bureau. I am confident a stronger bond developed between the members of the Delaware Farm Bureau and myself.</span>

Voters have a little over 2 weeks to go before election and my campaign is in need just $100.00 to be able to make the remaining pre-scheduled meetings this coming week.

I  need your help to make these meetings possible.

Any amount contributed will be put to good use. Paying for the gas to make these last few meetings before the elections.

O'Donnell meets with farm bureau members

Election Forum attracts just two candidate

By Logan B. Anderson

Delaware State News

Ms. O'Donnell was on of only two candidates  that showed up for the Delaware Farm Bureau Candidates Forum held in Camden on Friday, along with Independent Party US House of Representatives  candidate Earl Lofland

The US Senate Candidate Chris Coons  and US House candidate John Carney both democrats did not make it because  of a fundraiser for Mr. Coons in Wilmington, attended by President Barack Obama. Both candidates committed to coming and were scheduled to speak.

Republican US House Candidate Glen Urquhart did not attend either because of scheduling mistake on his campaigns part. He thought the forum was next week, according to Delaware Farm Bureau officials.

The bureau wanted to talk to the candidates about how they stand on specific farming related issues such as the federal estate tax, exporting agricultural products, and the federal Environmental Protection Agency's Confined Animal Feeding Operation permits.

<span>This is one-on-one conversation with all farmers in Delaware that have contact with the Delaware Farm Bureau said L Edward Jestice Jr. farm bureau president.

Ms O'Donnell who arrived early to the event said along the campaign trail she has talked  with a number of farmers.

She began  her remarks  by telling a story  about a 14 year old boy she met at an event in Middletown.

<span>I've been  talking about  him a lot  because it struck me Ms. O'Donnell Said. He shared with me that his father owned  a chicken farm and his dream, one day is to run that farm.

<span>He was concerned that if the death tax is reinstated on Jan 1 then in a couple decades he will have to sell the farm. You know more than I, his farm is a very asset rich by cash poor business.

<span>She continued  by saying that she wants to permanently eliminate the estate tax or death tax.

"You hear people like my opponent saying eliminating the death tax is protecting the wealthy- that is not it at all, Ms O'Donnell  said. It is protecting the family business and family farmers."

The estate tax must be paid to the federal government, in certain instances when a business, property or money is given or inherited by someone other than the previous owner's spouse according to the Internal Revenue  Service Web site.

<span>Since the race for US Senate seat once held by Vice President  Joseph Biden Jr..., is a special election and the winner  will be sworn in shortly after election day instead of in January, action to protect or repeal the estate tax could be swiftly taken by Delaware's new senator.

<span>Richard Wilkins, a farm bureau member and president of the Mid-Atlantic Soybean Association, asked Ms O'Donnell about her stance on Foreign trade.

<span>Three rows out of every four rows of soybeans that we grow 75 percent of our soybean crop is dependent on international trade Mr Wilkins said.

He told Ms O'Donnell about trade agreements that have already been negotiated and are awaiting approval from US Congress.

"Those  three trade agreements are with South Korea, Columbia and Panama. If you are successful in your election and are seated in this lame duck session of Congress, would you vote for them or against them." Mr Wilkerson asked.

Mrs O'Donnell  said she would vote to support them.

I am usually a proponent of free trade. Especially with the understanding the major impact it has on our local businesses and helping farmers keep their operations going. I would definitely support them." she said.

Delaware Farm Bureau New Castle County Vice President Bary C Warren asked Ms O'Donnell about her commitment to Delaware farmers. He asked, if elected would  she have a full time staff person dedicated to just working on agricultural issues.

<span>Ms. O'Donnell made that commitment and further pledged to hold regular town hall meetings with Delaware farmers, if elected.

Mr Lofland talked with the Delaware Farm Bureau members about minor political parties during his time before the group on Friday.

Mr Lofland described himself as an Independent and Constitution Party Fusion Candidate

"The Constitution Party believes  that we need to get back to  a constitutionally limited government that has limited powers and also enables us to be free and independent", Mr. Lofland said.

<span>He thanked  the farm bureau for inviting him because as a minor party candidate many groups  do not include him in debates and discussions he said.

Mr Lofland told the folks gathered about his party's recent struggles for ballot access.

Early this year Gov.. Jack Markell signed into law a measure  that would require a minor party be made up of one-tenth of 1 percent of the registered voters in the First State-about 600 people. Before the measure the became law, the number was 300.

The Constitution Party did not meet the new requirements.

Mr. Lofland Lobbied members of Delaware's General Assembly and was successful in getting the law repealed for this election cycle.

He compared himself to Rosa Parks in the Struggle for ballot access in the Delaware.

Mr Coons and Mr. Carney were scheduled to speak before the bureau beginning at 3 p.m.

Just before 3, representatives from both camps called the bureau and said that they would still come down to Dover from Wilmington, but that they would not get there until 4 p.m,

After a quick discussion, farm bureau members decided to decline because they couldn't wait that long for their arrival
